My town has one mall left that is still pretty popular.   It got a Toys R Us about a year ago.  It has some action figures, but not remotely like the old days.  Also, since it is an inside the…   Read more»

They should have at least released the 1987 movie figures. I enjoyed Origins, but did not collect the line to the same degree as Classics.

I’ll probably order the standard version, but what happens if I don’t order it in the preorder window? I’d be out of luck? Only be able to get the digital version, not physical copy?

I took my wife and youngest to it.  We had a blast.  The after credits stuff was kind of lame, though.  We got Prime’s return in season 3, so it felt unnecessary and the plot was not the best.

Although I haven’t collected Origins to the same degree as Classics, it has been great to see MOTU at retail during this time period. Origins was pretty popular at retail for a few years. We used to be told only…   Read more»

We used to be told only in a movie year, but we got a retail presence well before. The cartoons and movie weren’t runaway hits, but I enjoyed them.

I’m a bit leery of the potential bonus scene after the credits they seem to be teasing  since I think Season 3 did a good enough job of bringing Prime back.

In September in Ohio.  I don’t think we’ll see Powercon/MOTUfest back in California again unless Mattel gives them some exclusive figures.  They’ll stick to the OH/KY region where Val lives. I didn’t go this past year, but it looks like MOTUniverse did a good job of bringing back the feel of the old CA Powercons.

Anybody get tickets for the 40th anniversary showing of Transformers:  The Movie back in theaters September 17-21?  I got mine.  This will be at least the 3rd time I’ve seen it in theaters (1986, 2021, and now 2026).

30 to 40 for no deleted scenes and no digital copy is too much. I may wait for a sale.

Longevity is the key. It needs to be like a Top 5 watched Amazon film of the year for a realistic shot at a sequel.

I still have my doubts we’ll get it, but if we did, I think they’ll promote it like a new show.  They will either give it a new subtitle like Revolution or go as far as to call it something like He-Man & She-Ra: Despara’s Journey.  It will still be a sequel, but not require people to see the two previous parts.  I hope we finally see He-Man and Te…Read more
