Best I can tell, the Pacific Rim story isn't true. Hopefully.  

One of those exceptions is ToG Mer-Man, which I'm still mad about. This puts a sour taste in my mouth.  

The consensus is that they are fan-made. I wish they were real, though.  

I like that Scarescream has the cape and crown from the movie. Bad comedy, indeed.
