could she be hinting at more motu sequels in the docket, perhaps?
i know amazon mgm is also doing a pop series for streaming, what if that was the same universe/continuity as the upcoming movie?

Good lord, no more cinematic universes! Just make a stand-alone, well-written movie. Also, considering how poorly "superhero" films have done in general over the past few years, that was a poorly chosen comparison.
I'm worried that this is a shared perception by the people behind the movie.
They should not set out to emulate the MCU - AT ALL!
First, MOTU is certainly not cut from the "superhero" cloth... that's not what it is about.
Second, moviegoers are already fatigued with superhero movies as it is... MOTU should not be promoted in this way.
I fear that the movie makers are setting out to make Thor: The Dark World but dressed as He-Man...
