Usually films that require a lot of special effects (that will be present in the trailer) like superhero movies, seemingly showcase a trailer around 4-6 months prior to the release date.
"Jurassic World Rebirth" = 5 months
"Fantastic Four" = 5 months
Naturally some exceptions are.
"Captain America Brave New World" = 7 months.
And the recent highly-anticipated "Superman" = 8 months
In the case for "Masters of the Universe". It would be awesome if they can show some little snippets during October's BrandLicensingEurope event.
But I'm thinking a proper teaser trailer could be Jan '26 and then longer trailer Feb '26 😎

Likely before the end of the year we'll get a teaser trailer and poster. Maybe they'll debut a poster slightly after BLE?
There's a big event this December Amazon has been part of before and it's pretty much Brazil's equivalent of SDCC called CCXP. It's possible MOTU could have a panel and footage reveal there and possibly a trailer attached to the third Avatar film that also drops in December.
Outside of footage, Empire Magazine usually has there big "Next Year Blockbuster First Looks" issue in November where we could get our first possible images from the film if the BLE stuff isn't made public. Either way the from October to the end of the year could see some really exciting stuff!!
With Amazon money, I could see them holding off on a full trailer until the Super Bowl.
Mattel dropped a teaser trailer for Barbie in before Christmas. I can see them doing the same for He-Man.

@he-dad I'm amazed every time I read news like this. I think my brain just can't wrap itself around the fact that this time it's real, and I'm not sure how to process that (lol).
They need to drop the teaser when Tron comes out. If not thats another fail mark against this whole thing.
Gee i dont know, maybe 80s franchises, same group of fans, blah, blah. Not that hard to figure out. Or do you think it would be a better fit playing in front of downtown abbey.
I certainly wouldn't call it fail if they didn't have a trailer but I'd be pleasantly surprised if it did! Attach to Downton too! More eyes the better!
Teaser trailer is coming in December, Mattel confirmed yesterday at the keynote!

Avatar 3 comes out December 19th. Those Avatar movies are always huge at the box office so Amazon probably wants the motu trailer screened with that.
