From Instagram and X a while back. They were taken at the same time as the the rest but not as massively shared. I wish I knew who was the source i.e. photographer for all these.

There are people saying the movie is going to be delayed because the trailer isn't out yet. It's making me nervous.

Highly doubt it's getting delayed but all these outlets doing their 2026 previews and sneak peeks with zero mention or content for MOTU is concerning.

They want it to be the next Barbie success and yet so far their marketing, or lack of, is anything but.

I mean they said it was in the can. There's barely a movie that doesn't have reshoots now so I wouldn't be surprised if that's what's happening. Though you could still release a teaser unless you really did get nuclear fallout feedback.

I honestly won't be surprised if Amazon treats this like one of their Kevin James movies on Prime after giving it a limited theatre run. So far very little about this project feels standard. And for once that's not good.

I feel like reshoots aren't happening or are too late since a lot involved are now busy with other projects. Nicholas for example is about to start a schedule of 2 features including one where he's already slimming down and losing a lot of the muscle and bulk he put on.

We're a month from Super Bowl. If nothing happens between now and then, welp I guess we'll see it on Prime Video. 😆

It's still 6 months away from release - that's a long time, and perhaps a bit early to build the hype train for a summer blockbuster. Will Mattel be at New York Toy Fair? Maybe they'll show something there.

You should at least have a proper teaser by now, there's comparable movies like Dungeons and Dragons with lower budgets that have did that and promo spots in the previous year. Or indeed in any genre.

I should add I don't really care either way as I don't ever watch full trailers (I can't stand spoilers), but somehow this movie is beginning to feel fire and forget even before release. Rock bottom, you should have 'mobilised' the fanbase by now to spread the word. Minimum. It's reminding me of Transformers: One in the handling.

I understand some of the fears, but I'd be shocked if Amazon and Mattel don't promote the shit out of a 200 million dollar movie they've invested in.

Mattel will through the toys and social media, for Amazon this is likely just a joint release with a shared budget for Prime. I mean check out what they spent below on the Air movie alone as one example. 200m in their particular context is practically nothing. Which makes me wonder even more about the lack of, well, anything related to this movie. I could be absolutely wrong and they're about to flood the zone, but sheesh.

I am not nervous it was delayed for reshoots. I trust in Travis Knight. The test screening responses were fantastic. I am nervous they can't get the all the visual effects done in time like Avengers Doomsday. I am nervous it gets moved to November or later.

This movie was cancelled. Amazon realized they can't compare to the classic movie with Dolph and Frank.

Yep Mattel are confirmed to be attending NY Toy Fair and what's more they're setting up in the River Pavilion again, it's a massive space and floor around 45,000 Sq ft if I remember right and Mattel has the whole floor.

Toy Fair is also only 5 or 6 days after the Super Bowl too...🤔

Can we just get a trailer already? This better be a good movie, I have waited far too long for this movie. Not that I don't enjoy the 87 flick but it is high time we got a movie on Eternia more.

@bonezone It is not Travis I lack faith in. I just don't want high hopes and watch it burn.

Judging by the heels/lifts in his boots, we suspect He-Man (played by 5ft 11 ½ /181.6 cm actor Nicholas Galitzine) will be roughly 6ft 5 in the New "Masters of the Universe" Movie.

My entire opinion is based on the characters alone. They fucked up too many characters for me to be into it. I'm just not feeling it. I want all the characters to be EXACT. If they can make Skeletor & Beast Man look perfect then why did they have to mess up so many others like Man-At-Arms, Teela, Roboto, Mekaneck, the Palace Guards & Fisto? Make every character look exactly like they're supposed to. Everybody reacting to this trailer can't even recognize a lot of the characters. If you have to say "Is that supposed to be?" then they have failed. Skeletor is awesome. He-Man is too skinny/wimpy. Fisto & Ram Man look anorexic. This shit looks like SDCC cosplayers.

My #1 favorite character is Spikor & if that's supposed to be Spikor I already HATE this movie. The Filmation cartoon ruined him & now they ruined him again. It feels like a personal attack now. They can get Skeletor perfect but they always have to fuck with my favorite characters. I wanted SPIKOR not Killer Croc. This just pisses me off. This movie is more offensive than anything IMO. I'm not into this "reimaging" shit. And Roboto is a direct rip-off of Scrapper from Pacific Rim Uprising. Roboto is the easiest character to get right & they still fucked him up.

After decades of constant disappointments starting way back with Alien 3, I am no longer forgiving at all. Skeletor proves that they are capable of getting every single character perfect. So why didn't they?  Why do they pick & choose which characters get perfectly translated while others aren't even recognizable?

Feels like the Transformers movies all over again, they got Optimus Prime right but all the characters look nothing like they're supposed to.

One of the best comments...nuff said...IMO, Spikor is the most critical...I can live with others, more-less, but Spikor...

I might be overthinking it... but, this opening shot immediately reminded me of Dragosaur Isle.
