This one was so worth it. Skeletor riding Mer-Man and Whiplash like the girl rides dolphins at Sea World was hilarious.
Legit this is the best episode in a while of this watch-a-thon after a bunch that I just felt were either dull or decent but I had nothing really to say. Going in my favorites list.
Engaging enough plot and action, a good variety of characters (mainly Buzz-Off and Whiplash), Skeletor at his best, all my favorite aspects of this show.
Is it just me or does Buzz-Off sound like if Gilbert Gottfried if he inhaled lots and lots of helium?
I remember this episode well, have seen it not too long ago. Loved the mystery, seeing Buzz-Off and Whiplash, that hilarious scene with Skeletor riding W and MM… A strong showing!
A few years ago I heard someone make the comment that this is a perfect "Saturday afternoon episode." I don't know why that fits, but it seems like a perfect description. I really enjoy it, it builds a good mystery and story.
Mer-Man and Whiplash make a great duo as well, it's too bad we didn't get more of this. It's funny how they're typically two of Skeletor's most competent warriors but here they're played more like Beatman and Trap-Jaw. It works in this context though.
Finally, you know the story is great when He-Man's barely in it but you hardly notice.
