This was an odd way to introduce Fisto, especially with his temporary magic powers. My only complaint of Season 2 and Season 3 (or just Season 2 depending on how you count it) is how little we get of the newer characters. On one hand I appreciate it, this show never shoved the new ones down your throat the way G.I. Joe or Transformers did, but I still wish we got a little more than we did - who doesn't want more Kobra Khan, Two-Bad, etc....?

And while I will continue to praise the improved animation in S2, I remain amused that Skeletor's brief appearance is entirely the stock animation used in the opening credits.

I watched the episode recently and I don't mind it. The redemption arc is ok - it is very funny how Fisto can change from evil villain to hero just because a log falls on him. 😆 - it's a kids show and that's how I take all of them. The heart and intent from Filmation is always there. Brings back some great memories.

I remember as a kid loving playing with the newer characters of Buzz Off and Fisto in particular and then being disappointed that they were not in many episodes. Then when I heard their voices in the cartoon I found them underwhelming. The echo on Fisto's voice I felt was unnecessary (probably used to differentiate Fisto from Lou's other characters) and thought Oppenheimer's Buzz-Off voice was a bit too high pitched.

@beardofstratos Webstor's squeaky voice might not be for everyone but that was a good one. I also remember liking Mekaneck and Whiplash.

Mediocre episode

Skeletor just shows up out of no where for no reason.

Can anyone explain to me Fisto's metallic voice filter?

We're almost halfway through the show and finally it feels like I'm finally gonna see more recognizable hero faces going forwards that aren't the main five, Ram Man, Stratos and Man-E more frequently. For one of the most notable "toy commercial 80s cartoons" and that high episode count for the time, I'd expect a bigger cast of frequently recurring characters that appear in at least more than four episodes.

I'm sure most of us can agree one of the best things 200x did was actually take the latter half of the show's title to heart and despite it's short run, it gave the characters enough time to shine, as well as making the titular "Masters" a unit with dynamics

3 stars. Good to see a new character but the story kind of went nowhere.
