We have the Power!
I love this episode, and the story behind it -this is why MOTU is so endearing, it could have been more like Transformers and GI Joe effectively banging the toys together, but Lou filled the show with so much heart. Despite the lack of action it’s still a very compelling episode.
After we learned of John Erwin’s passing last year one of the first things I watched was that audio recording of him talking to the boy going blind as He-Man. John brought compassion to He-Man so much that you always felt he cared.
This is not the most outstanding episode of the series, but it is one of the few that stuck with me throughout my childhood.

Watched this one a while back and yeah I knew from that viewing that it would be one of my favorites. The word I would use to describe it is very sweet.
He-Man takes this disabled kid on an adventure, but while there is danger, no conflict from usual baddies, that honestly might've ruined the story and the writers thought well.
The types of things Superman and Spider-Man do all the time.
The story I would compare this the most to is the famous "The kid who collects Spider-Man" story.
It shows that these heroes don't always fight, sometimes they just want to give an unfortunate kid (illness or disability) a fun day with their heroes.
Pointless side tangent: Speaking of Kid Who Collects Spider-Man, y'all aware of that infamous fan film "Spider-Man Lotus" from a few years back that looked like it would be good until online chats and texts leaked of the director and main actor discussing things with..........certain controversial words.....? Yeah the final film is pretty bad, even the part where it adapts that story where Spidey trauma dumps on a not-sick-looking child, but it was dead on arrival.
