@firefly That is unacceptable. Were you offered an explanation and a partial refund? It better not be because of money.

Five or six years ago the goal was $30,000 and the campaign obliterated that goal earning $114,513. I heard years later Rob had the nerve of complaining about having enough money to finish the project. It was ridiculous.

@caliban Where did all that extra money go? They need to be completely transparent as to how this failed when they raised an amount dramatically higher than the goal they set.

@durendal Rob was harshly criticized because after the campaign when he bought a new car. No one thought it was a coincidence.There should be accountability with Rob and with Eatock because he was in charge of the likenesses Firefly is talking about.

also unrelated aside, I heard Grim2/Grimbot (who animated on Return of Faker) was an aggressive geewunner for some reason, but that's Transformers talk lol

@Caliban He said due to legal restrictions they can't include Return of Faker with the DVD/Blu-Ray release, even though that is why most people pledged to the Kickstarter.  Yet they will still be showing both Return of Faker and the documentary at this year's Power-Con before any one receives their DVDs or Blu-Rays.  As far as if people will get refunded on their likeness for the cartoon that cost an extra tier, he is giving a very wishy washy response about ways to acknowledge the change, so I'm not holding my breath. 

@firefly I remember you talking about this years ago. That sucks!! You should have AJ do a report on it and call some attention to it. Otherwise it could happen again to people. 

It is a shame that there is no legal recourse if a Kickstarter fails to deliver. People can promise backers the moon without ever investigating if they can deliver on that promise.
