Hello everyone! I'm R.K., a Gen Z guy. I became a He-Man fan, uhh, about a month ago! 😆 

My wife heard about the then-upcoming Masters of the Universe movie and wanted to see it, since she grew up watching the old Filmation show with her family. I'd never seen anything He-Man in my life up to that point, so we looked up a "top ten best episodes" guide on Reddit for the original show to prepare me.

Despite the obvious dated qualities that I'm sure everyone makes fun of, I found a show that had the two qualities I value most in media: creativity and confidence. It took the weird, wacky world of Eternia and ran with it wholeheartedly!

We saw the movie together and enjoyed the experience; although, as a bit of a "movie critic" type, I had some issues with it 😓 . But it helped kickstart a love for this series, and I want to keep exploring it! 

I'm currently following the guide on this website to watch through the Filmation series in production order. Who knows how far in I'll get, but I'm enjoying it so far!

Finding this little corner of the Internet dedicated to He-Man made me want to join it. I'm sick of modern-day social media; communities like this are the heart of the Internet, not algorithmic feeds!
