DECISIONS, DECISIONS!

Planning to add a "Masters of the Universe" Movie (2026) He-Man figure to your collection? Will it be a Chronicles figure, a Kids figure or both?

💥 Thanks to the awesome Frederick Rainey for sharing these great pics with us!

@admin Definitely will get something. But it’s true, which one should it be… I love how cheap the First Ones are, and still look pretty good! Also nice that they are almost compatible to Origins.

He-Man looks good in both iterations. Neither really works fully with the existing lines 😅.
But I’m also keen on trying out those new joints. I also like the Chronicles Battle Cat…

I will get a few things to commemorate this momentous event. Then I’ll continue adding to my 7-ish collection with new Chronicles, hopefully. And continue to get whatever “Vintage” releases we get from Origins. (And if there’s more Masterverse, even better).

I'd actually argue that the Chronicles are closer to Masterverse than the First Ones are to Origins.

But... I always say, if you can't decide, get both!! 😉

@ornclown Or the other way around?! So they can start learning from their disgusting practices, which have resulted in actual trust losses. Can any sublines be completed nowadays?

Ironically, the cheap He-Man head looks better than the "premium" one

@yen1893 the initial panic. Prices will drop. If people want to spend $100 to be one of the first to have him then….

So far, Scare Glow hasn’t shown up on Walmart Collector Con, as far as I can see… not sure if I want to keep checking all day…

Golden Skeletor comes in and out of stock. I panicked twice and as a result I did get him but got more stuff than I wanted and had to pay shipping once or even twice 😅

My initial haul was Gold Skell and MV VC Beast Man, but had to pay shipping… so added MV VC Teela.

Suddenly Goldie was out of stock, after 2 minutes! I pressed the checkout button in panic. Not even sure if I paid shipping.

10 mins later he was back in stock and I ordered him very quickly, paying shipping made him not that cheap after all ($18+).

Now he comes in and out, so don’t panic, I guess? WalmartCon is just so unpredictable.

@admin I was wondering, could you get the guy who made the comparisons with Classics He-Ro to see if the Chronicles head peg size is the same or similar to Classics? I saw in reviews that it's smaller than Masterverse

Haven't been here much to catch all the discussion but, wanted to let folks know I scored a case of Chronicles Scare Glow. Bought all 4 figure. Kept 1 and gave 3 to buddies so we could actually DISCUSS the figure. In my opinion it sucks to have one of the most exciting figures to hit a line in the last 5-6 years and no close friends to discuss it with.

Guys...this IS Masterverse 3.0 (2.0-9 is New Eternia and it's various advances). Scare Glow is the same height as most NE figures. He's slightly taller than a Savage Crucible Lemurian Royal Guard. Holding and posing the figure is a JOY. The articulation glides. It's friction based yet feels very sturdy. It's a new way to approach a "pinless" articulation system.

I absolutely LOVE IT. Holding this figure feels as if I am holding an "Event". A very important launching point that has rethought the MOTU 7" figure. The detail and design approach makes this thing more at home with Mythic Legions and Savage Crucible than even New Eternia. This figure feels like a more "high-end" collectible.

Things of Note:

1. This absolutely IS 7" scale. No matter what they say or how they label the package it will never be "1/12". They have named it thus to ride the scale popularity cycle.

2. The packaging is the exact same as Masterverse. Down to the little plastic tabs that secure the figure to the blister backer.

3. The cape sucks 🙂

I've taken no action pics. Only my shelf find...but, it's contrived because I asked the Walmart guy to pull them out of the back. LOL

I’m still anxious when we’ll actually be able to order this Scare Glow.

He wasn’t at Walmart-Con, (though there was some confusion at first that he might be). Maybe another snafu happened and the boat was directly redirected to EBay.

Is he available in physical stores now? Considering how many of him are popping up on EBay, I would think that’s where folks are getting him from…

The movie figs are coming April… but since he’s a WM exclusive… who knows.

I’m getting antsy and tempted to spend the big bucks to ease my anxiousness. 😏

I stopped at Walmart before work and they had tags up for Core and Chronicles. I’m glad mine are carrying motu again

@thenate Okay, he told me the Classics head ball is little bigger than the Chronicles head ball, by like a smidge. So when you put a Classics head on a Chronicles neck, while it pops on, the head does wiggle a bit like a bobblehead.

@admin Those figures look really good, but I wish Fisto wasn't wearing pants though. Makes him look less barbariany, but I get it - unless the actor has huge quads to show off, which is hard to achieve in a short training time, there's not much sense in exposing them.

Also, Fisto and Ram Man being released as a 2 pack makes me think they'll probably have a comedic, buddy-buddy team thing going on in the movie, which is a great idea. Lots of joke potential there based on their names...

@admin This is glorious! Self referential loop galore!

Also, just got shipping notice from Walmart for my “Core” / Golden Skeletor that I ordered at Cancel Con. Yay!

@admin Goat Man looks awesome - so much better than the vintage design, which was kind of stupid. I hope he gets released on the Origins buck too...

Looks almost chunky enough to pass as Origins.
