If Mattel really wanted to surprise us with something regarding PoP's Anniversary, I'd love to see a William Stout She-Ra figure revealed at SDCC this year...

Geez, lees than a week before SDCC and Toy Habits hasn't had any juicy scoops like they so often had in the past. Methinks their source dried up. Sucks.

@ornclown It would almost excuse the retention of the Great Rebellion characters (lol).

I think the execution and proportions are ideal for blending into my 7-inch figure displays. A few tweaks are required here and there, but it's a great addition to the MOTU collector community as a whole.

They sent him a box a while back but I can't remember what was in it now, can't remember if it was items or a promo effort?

Either way, get somebody with a clue to help promote your item! Especially when you messed up your own launch on Cretins!

Would be invested in this (cool looking) Grizzlor if his original toy-based Origins figure was readily available and not a once Mattel Creations exclusive now $40-50 on eBay. His new normal retail CC figure looks good but I'm picky on which CC figures I get depending if I have their normal Origins figure.

Also I question why start this cool concept "Sketchbook series" Origins sub-line with those two? I know they're making He-Man and Skeletor soon OBVIOUSLY but why didn't it start with them in the first place?

Okay upon my frequent late night eBay browses, I am just now finding out that they've released a Sketchbook Series Sy-Klone.....huh?

Same situation with Grizzlor. Normal OG toy based figure was an online Mattel Creations exclusive that somehow variants of these characters are more readily available (CC and now SS). I dunno where this figure came from. From my POV it's just appeared out of thin air. Pun not intended.

Again, I really question why for this cool new Origins sub-line, they start with supporting/minor characters like Grizz and Sy and not, y'know, the two main faces of the franchise? Cool figure designs, yeah.

But it's like if there was a new Transformers toyline but it released figures of Hound, Kup and Barricade in it's first wave and for some damn reason held off for a good while on literal franchise A-listers like Bee, Megs, Starscream and Optimus friggin' Prime!

@slycooperastroboy51 I dunno, I feel we *always* start with He-Man and Skeletor, and there are a gazillion versions of them already (slight yawn).

Also there was already that Lords of Power 5-pack with earlier designs of them. They’ve also done “Vykron”-He-Man in Masterverse.

I find it refreshing, that we’re not following the obvious order… might get just me, but I love it 🙃

We've also gotten tested for two each sketchbook/ concept for He-Man and Skeletor. 

So glad I paid for CG membership and rushed online to buy the 'exclusive' Fright Zone to now wait for a shipping email while Germany just somehow gets theirs in-hand.

Honestly, Dragstor and the NE Moss Man + Mosquitor, that's it for me from those reveals. The 200x line, sure  interesting, but I'll be damned if I start yet another MOTU line. Someone at Mattel really suffers from ADHD; I wish they would focus on something for a change and just "get it done". 

K, thoughts on new reveals:

- I hope what was shown tonight wasn't all they had for Origins I mean it's damn preview night

-  finished watching most of 200x. Loved it and hell yeah I'm excited we're getting CC figures based on it, but the fact that they've shown off almost the whole main cast has me worried this'll be most of main retail/fan channel/non-exclusive Origins figures for next year. They still haven't given us enough major Filmation characters and I hope they're not halting.

- Dragstor and Sting-Or. As a newer fan I don't know much about these guys but a kickass design can honestly be enough to sell me on a figure. The fact that they're Horde members is better for me, as I'm becoming a real Hordak Boy. I was literally wondering the other day "Would an Origins Dragstor's original play feature be kept or would it be like Mekaneck and it would be removed and compromised for the sake of posability?"
