@therealbatman No. It would be nice to have but they still have a lot of PoP characters to make and they are already shifting to 200X so 2026 may see two 200X characters and one Filiation character per wave, and there's no telling who they'll double up on. Personally I'd like to see two each 200X and Filmation with four different characters per wave or the return of FF

Yeah I kinda hope they bring back Fan Favorite reissues even though since getting back into collecting MOTU origins I now literally have all the normal toy based Origins figures I want. I'll of course keep on collecting Origins through new CC, new crossovers, other characters/variants, etc. I didn't desire at first but decide to get because of a low eBay price or they just look cool 

And that's the reason Fan Favorite should come back. There was no original toy based Teela, Man-at-Arms, Beast Man, Faker, etc. on BigBadToyStore or any other mass retail online fan channel, so I resorted to eBay. Thankfully most you can get for around original retail price with the exception of some like Faker, but thankfully they're mostly under $50. It ain't hell like Transformers aftermarket. Even though I have all the figures I say I've desired, I think they should bring it back for the sake of newer fans wanting to get the OG toy versions of literally main franchise cast members like some of the aforementioned.

Okay if there's ONE Fan Favorite reissue I personally want, it's normal Grey Stratos. Mini-comic Speedo Stratos, I have no idea why Mattel put that out at  mass retail. They definitely MADE a grey toy based Stratos, but for some reason you can find Speedo Strat at clearance everywhere and normal Stratos is more rare for some god forsaken reason and when you do find a listing on eBay for it, it's somewhat an exception to the under $50 thing. I do have CC Strat, but I want an original toy based one among my display.

As for mini comic Stratos he's good to use as an army builder. The wave 4 mini comic had several "party boy" Stratos looking characters and gray Stratos as their leader.

@smitty-81 I thought Vintage Collection was the name of a new Masterverse subline based on the original toys with Masterverse levels of articulation of which you ask me is kinda pointless when this whole Origins line exists along side it?

I'm really curious how much presence MOTU / PoP will have at the Mattel booth this year...

Every summer at this time, I mentally prepare myself to be disappointed at the lack of New Adventures representation (going all the way back to SDCC 2010.) It has almost become a standard joke / practice for me.

Maybe Mattel should license out the Jetlag designs to Super7 so that they can make cartoon accurate versions of the NA cast!  

@ornclown The one small sliver of hope is that several NA characters have FINALLY shown up in one of the new mini comics, so at least Mattel is thinking about them at the very least. I sure hope their sudden appearance leads to figures...

Haven't consumed anything New Adventures. Maybe one day. All I know is that it was more sci-fi than the great balance of sci-fi and fantasy the franchise should have, Adam, Skeletor and Teela (for one episode) were the only returning characters, He-Man had a lightsaber I think? and was voiced by Gary Chalk and overall it's was Mattel's last ditch effort for the franchise at the time.

That being said, were there any new characters then who are now obscure but look cool enough to make me possibly get an Origins figure of?

@slycooperastroboy51 Most of the villainous Space Mutants have good designs, Optikk is particularly a favorite. 

One of the complaints about the NA heroes (Galactic Guardians/Protectors) is that they tend to be "guys in space armor". I felt the same way, but over time I've come to appreciate them. Sagitar is well liked, and I feel Hydron and Flipshot are necessary. 

I didn't really like NA back when it came out, but Classics gave me a new appreciation for it. I'd love to see more NA figures, here's hoping!

@slycooperastroboy51 All of the villains are worthy of getting figures in Origins as long as they use the same buck. I want all the Galactic Guardians as well, but admittedly some of them are a bit bland and too "G.I. Joe-esque", but hey, blandness didn't stop Mattel from making all 10 of the Sun Man characters...

Imagine if Mattel had never licensed Sun Man and those 10 slots went to NA characters instead, that faction could have had decent representation in Origins by now with 5 guys from both sides:

@slycooperastroboy51 He-Man did not have a light saber, but you're pretty close with the rest. The show is on Peacock if you want to watch it, and it's worth checking out. Also the few mini comics it had are a good bridge between the vintage line and NA, better that what the show did.

I secretly hoped she would come with this mask as an extra accessory. I like how Emiliano spiced up her design by referencing a story he made up years ago. In the story, her tribe has several battle cats to defend them.

@kinggrayskull09 The way it was worded makes it seem like Emiliano found inspiration in a story he wrote for 200X Media. However, the only time we see her designed that way is on a Mad Duck poster from several years ago.
