@smitty-81 Far from thrilling, as far as I'm concerned, unless Mattel sticks with the movie news for long enough this time around, so that I can reasonably hope to replace my Motuc Goat Man. I got rid of him a bit too soon, thinking they would produce his Revelation figure back then.
@onlyoneskeletor I like that the CC will continue, there's still a lot of POP characters to get made.

@smitty-81 Tell me about it! I'm waiting to see what this brand is going to unveil at the next SDCC convention, but so far, for a 40^(th) anniversary, it sounds pretty timid to me. At least as far as potential Princesses of Power are concerned.

Oh look, Masterverse was such a success it's getting relaunched... with an already questionable movie. Urgh, I dared hope they wouldn't be that stupid - the Revelation glut is still around years later! Ignoring the recent history of media sublines and thinking a movie will solve everything is so bloody corporate playbook from the year dot. Hell, it's the mistake they made in 1987!
I wonder if the 200x stuff will fit aesthetically with what we already got, I won't be surprised if it's more cartoony for obvious reasons.
On a happier note there's no word whatsoever of a new cartoon, so I'm thinking the kids line will be cheaper, small scale figures based on the original designs, maybe? Or Titans lol.

I'm thinking this is more of a genuine relaunch of the line centred around movie figures and mostly hype, a new box won't cut it. The idea will be more big box retailer I reckon.
@sketchyskeletor toy lines "relaunch" every year, just look at how often Transformers Generations has rebranded itself.

I got a shipping notice for Despara. I would have preferred her being in Masterverse but at least in Origins we get a minicomic. Curious to see what story is told there.
Wow... so far, I've only gotten an email from BBTS telling me that they are expecting Orko, Fangman, and Grizzlor to come into stock soon. And, surprisingly, they lowered the price on them!

As is Montork will have the O on his chest only half hidden by his beard and you can't even reverse the head, arms and hands to hide it, because this time the idiots have stamped his back instead of underneath 🤡
