Vecna seems cool, I like that spider on his chest. And He-Man’s demon shield is rad!

You know, every time I check Mattel news on MOTU  stuff I get a little sadder. I was so hoping that they'd focus on Origins to mostly just re-release the vintage line and then pick up where it left off with Preternia. Instead we got flooded with fan-fic Snakemen and RoTS characters (the latter including a bunch of characters that really didn't sell, as far as I can tell). And don't get me started on that damn Snake Lair ^^

So what is everyone thinking - is Mattel actually going to release all  the missing vintage characters and vehicles? I kinda doubt it, if I am being perfectly honest. Night Stalker is still available from MC - and I think that's partly because he is too expensive, especially for international collectors who have to pay import tax and Fedex shipping on top of the 39$. And their release cycle is way, way, way too slow for that to even be realistic a project, time wise. They would need literal years to get through the remaining items. And each requiring international tax and shipping 😛 

If you couldn't tell, I am annoyed 😀

@lasastard they keep saying they're going fo finish up the vintage figures. As for them movie on to the CC and ToG at retail it's just busyness. Hasbro does the same thing with Transformers often leaving certain teams incomplete.

True - re Transformers. What I would want to lay at Mattels feet is the fact they it feels like they choked out the "vintage" origins line by getting side tracked too much. I get that some people are keen to see new characters being added, which is fine. But imho Mattel seriously overdid it with Origins to the point where it eventually ran out of steam, so to speak. And whether they have the will to keep it running on Creations for what would easily be 3-4+ years at one figure a quarter... not seeing it, to be honest. Which imho is just a case of mismanagement.

@lasastard i think they should have held the Snakemen back until after Rulers of the Sun.
