@durendal Those characters are photoshopped after the fact. They aren't Mattel's doing.

So in regards to 200x CC 

Despite Mattel sadly doing away with the artifact accessories to cut costs, each character will still represent an episode

we don’t know if they’ll do a single character to represent a multi-part episode or not, but I’m betting they will.

did the math and with the exception of the Walmart exclusive Samurai He-Man, which is really stretching it for “Cartoon Collection”

we currently have confirmation or know at least that 16 characters are coming. The show has 35 episodes if you count the multi-parters as one episode so we can only speculate what could be 19 more 200x figures

that is if they wanna cover the whole series which I mean may take a few years if they wanna do so, even if we do also want more Filmation 

from the figures that are out and seeing what episodes they represent we can likely speculate what characters they will make via process of elimination 

In terms of toon-only characters I would love to see a figure of, Dekkar, like him. I know he did get a Classics figure because everyone and their grandma got one.

Necro Conda is $6 & Horde Trooper Prime is $10 on Walmart.com. I just bought 2 Horde Troopers + Transformers Retro Brawn for $15.  Necro Conda is my #1 favorite Origins figure but I already have 4 so although it is really tempting, I just don't need more.  I'm working on making a Masterverse version.

Now I wish I could get a good price on TOG Super Shredder. I keep seeing the toy hunters on Youtube finding them at Ross but I never find any MOTU at Ross.

I received my an email from BBTS notifying me that my King Randor is shipping but the price is jumping from $19.99 to $21.99 because of tariffs. I only ordered it a month ago. They didn't know about the tariffs then? Nothing went up or down with tariffs in that time that I heard. I wonder if BBTS uses the cheaper price to reel people like me in knowing it will be raised later.

They have been doing this for a while now... the price you think you will pay always goes up.

As much as I love them, BBTS sure is riding this tariff wave right to the bank.

I'm no expert, but I would imagine that a conglomerate like Mattel wouldn't pass a huge cost increase onto a buyer as big as BBTS... at least, not so much that they have to pass the cost onto we the consumer.

Import figures? Sure. Smaller companies? Of course. Mattel? .....I call shenanigans. 

EE & Nerdzoic are doing it too.  Nerdzoic has all the Masterverse pre-orders at $23.99 but when they come in stock they are $25.99. 

And remember, only America has to pay these stupid Tariffs. Trump is really sticking it to all the other countries real good by screwing over AMERICANS!  The dumbest president in American history. He still has no clue how tariffs work.

It is shenanigans if I pay a price and a month later they charge me higher. If it only takes a month to get me my figures then everybody involved should know what it costs at the time I order it. It's not like these figures are overnighted from China or wherever they are made. They are shipped on one of those big freight boats that take weeks to sail and get unloaded.

I think they pass it on in a heartbeat.

They feel it’s not their “fault”, so they shouldn’t have to bear the consequences. I don’t think companies are absorbing these tariffs. They know BBTS will pass them on, too. Nobody wants to lose any profit.

Not sure how all these things work, but in a culture where taxes are not shown in the pricing, “we have nothing to do with that” 👐 companies sure don’t feel responsible to absorb anything that comes from the government.

Has anyone gotten shipping notices for Dragstor? I haven’t gotten anything yet, which is unusual for me.

I may have made a snafu with this order, I added a t-shirt and applied the Apple Pay discount, but I think I didn’t pay with Apple Pay cause I didn’t see the option atm 😅 

Now I’m worried this order will be held up or canceled. Maybe I should write Creations, but I also don’t want them to charge me for the difference… 

If it wasn’t for the discount, I would not have ordered the shirt!

Got the notice yesterday. 

Now that I can post again: Out of nowhere today, I got notice my Dragstor was out for delivery today! This afternoon he has arrived! Or it’s the t-shirt I ordered 😅 

I guess I should open but I kinda want to wait till Xmas…

The episode is called "The Mystery of Anwat-Gar"

Also, with the exception of the heroic masters in the first episode 200X does a good job of giving all the new heroic characters an introduction.

Love the She-Ra and Swiftwind set, mostly because if the horse of course. They did a great job, it’s an impressive set and a dream for every She-Ra fan.

People said it was too expensive, so at a lower price, even better.
