Not related, I wish I had the room to get another Grayskull! I do like these Mark Taylor colors. But then, if I was going to get more Playsets, I’d get Snake Mountain and a vintage Grayskull first.

I love the playability and interiors of the new castles, but I prefer the vintage Grayskull’s decaying facade.

OMG, we're getting Red Shadow instead of Eldor as was widely rumoured. That's a seriously deep cut, and a "new" POG character. I'm starting to wonder if Axel has more pull behind the scenes than he's letting on, considering Mattel has been making so many of his original characters lately...

I’m glad this wasn’t reported since there have to be *some* surprises left in toy collecting 😜 

Looks Like they made the mask more chunky… a bit less spooky than the concept… looking forward to seeing the figure. I support new characters in the line, and this guy looks pretty cool!

Since we have no Eldor, and we know GB Wizard is coming, that means PoG will continue next year. Nice.

Also: Red Shadow (who’s actually blue 🤔) Mini Comic!

I wonder if he'll have a second head. I gotta say, with Red Shadow and the pics of GB Wizard, I'm excited at the prospect of more unmade MOTUC figures!

I just did some searching, and as it turns out, Red Shadow DID get a bio either during or right after Super 7 took over (I believe Penny Dreadful and Baena wrote these). I'll be interested to see if this is what his mini-comic is about:

"Born with an offensive stripe of blood red fur down his back, Dumaskas was a shunned prince of the Beast Men in the Vine Jungle of Preternia. Feared as a pariah, he was forced by his brother B'steel to wear a magic mask that made him into a servant of the Great Black Wizard until the Preternian nature god Moss Man set him free. Unable to remove the mask, Damascus became known as Red Shadow, now able to commune telepathically with the fauna of Preternia. Even alien beasts heard his calls, as he discovered when he saved his loyal friend Hop-Or, a small hopping shminavit of Tranis, one of many aliens magically stranded on Preternia by the spellcasting of the Great Black Wizard. Red Shadow later defeated B'Steel and taught their innocent younger brother B'Karr how to speak to animals as well, making him into the fabled Beast Lord who united the Beast Men clans as allies of King Grayskull. After the Great Wars, Red Shadow used the magic portals of Castle Grayskull to find peace on other worlds."

Actually, Eric Marshall (gbagok) and his partner in crime, Danielle Gelehrter, were hired by Super7 to handle the nearly impossible task of canonising the universe of our beloved Masters (lol). The artist answering under the nickname 'Baena' is actually designer Nate Baertsch.

I'm not super excited about this one but I'm going to get him.

Aside from the accessories and head, does Red Shadow have any other new tooling? What about the furry leg warmers? I don't recall seeing those on anyone else.

@durendal Somewhere in the emailing or Creations site, it says the head and the boot parts are new tooling.

There’s also a furry neck collar, but I guess you’d call that accessory / armor piece.

I believe the upper arms and upper legs are from Grizzlor? The rest is ofc the classic Beast-Man / Stratos body.

I seem to recall the vine sash might be from 200X Mossy?
EDIT: No it isn’t. Unless they repurposed Masterverse Moss-Man’s sash.

The club though, that’s 200X CC.

I just checked, I didn’t see these particularly “furry” feet with any of the TCats.
What’s also of note is his feet have 4 toes.

I think these actually might be new.
When Creations states these are “new furry boots”, they may mean including the foot?

Red Shadow just jumped high up on my want list!

I'm not really sure why, but I like the design of this particular figure... it seems like something that would have been hanging on the shelves at TRU back in the day.
