Damn straight it's frustrating. Mattel is doing the same shit with Vintage. We've been waiting for a Two Bad for 4 years.
Has Mattel announced a Filmation Sorceress yet?
No and it's criminal. You can forgive Mattel for not making Octavia even though I don't want to but how do you not make the Sorceress. The Sorceress is just as important as Man-At-Arms and Teela. She is in the opening credits.
We also need a Zodac.
I would also like a Batros and Icer.

After Megatron-Skeletor Tuesday, I got the 80th Anniversary “Retro Punching” set today, that I just ordered this week.
Now waiting for Sketchbook Spikor…
The 80th Anniversary set is impressive when you open it, though the figures are not made of the same materials as vintage ofc. They use the current matte Origins plastic. So it’s a funny mishmash, stylistically. Skeletor even got some entirely new legs– thick as Origins, but slightly different boots.
But his bat on the armor is not painted green on mine– is yours??
All the package illos show the bat green!
His head is the closest we got to a vintage style head. It’s great. The arms are authentic, too– Skeletor’s right biceps is smaller than his left. But the mold for those lacks definition– as if they really found some over-used, old molds for these arms, and didn’t want to mess with them to make them crisper.
Retro punching works great!
Haven’t inspected He-Man yet, but his head is not as good as recent Origins heads. Yet, his weapons look nicely vintage, in metallic plastic… finally getting the classic shield and axe!

yesterday I was at my local GameStop and among the figures they were selling I found MOTU x TC Pathro and Tygra figures.
Did GameStop ever sell MOTU figures around 2021-22?
I’m assuming they did and stopped ordering stock them after the poorly sold Speedo Stratos wave.
even though these are crossover figures, I’d like to think they’re gonna start selling more MOTU stuff (again?) starting next year ahead of the film’s release.
Just got a big haul consisting of a Mega-tor I've had for a week, but waited to open because now I gor Bee-at-Arms, along with a HUGE BBTS Pile of loot consisting of Transformers SS86 Mixmaster and Scavenger (after years I FINALLY have a complete combiner), Age of the Primes Fireflight (may hold off on opening him until I get a Skydive to complete the Aerialbots, A Sly Cooper YooTooz (YooTooz >>>>>>Funko Pop) and x2 Horde Trooper, a Manteanna and CC Shadow Weaver. 😎
Got my 2 80th sets today. And just like Ive seen repeatedly online, crammed in a box two small so boxes were smashed.

Would y'all say if CC Fang Man is worth getting? I mean for a character that had a very minor role in only one Filmation episode with less than two minutes of screentime, had a Classics figures before and literally nothing else? No other appearance in any other media?
I'm sure he's a character y'all REALLY question why he got a recent figure when there are probably a lot of better choices for more than two screentime minute cartoon exclusive characters
I know Whiplash just came out and this guy was basically the prototype to him, but from what I've seen of Filmation, I honestly would've preferred an Origins Lizard Man figure. He appeared in three episodes and I know this is gonna sound weird, but I think he honestly looks a bit cute, at least his first design.
@slycooperastroboy51 I passed on Fang Man. I just don't see the point in getting any CC figures when I have their VC counterparts, except if the CC figure looks better. Most of the CC figures I got I got for the mini comic or for parts.
I also suspect that Fang Man is a money saver for Mattel. He's only got four new parts and he reuses Reptilax's head.

@slycooperastroboy51 I actually am considering him, even though I’m not a big Filmation (He-Man) fan and am only getting about 1/3 to 1/2 of Cartoon Collection–
but Fang-Man is unique in CC, that’s why
since there is No Vintage Collection figure of this guy (@smitty 😜), (and I don’t have the Classics figure either), he is a CC unique character, so he would add to Skeletor’s Legions in either collection.
But, have been buying and (pre)ordering so much, I’m holding off for now.

Like I posted in another thread:
If Mattel would hold off on the (ridiculous, IMO) Transformers x MOTU line and focus their efforts on TC, then I wouldn't be having so many sleepless nights...
They need to concentrate on ONE crossover line at a time... like they did with WWE, Sun-Man, and TMNT. I don't know what goes on over there at Mattel, but I would like the resources needed to be allocated to TC before TF.
Mattel might hurt themselves with this flood of MOTU merchandise... a part of me thinks that they are banking on this new movie to do really well. If that is the case, great! However, if it isn't, we could see some major changes to the distribution and quantity of Origins being released.

There honestly a bunch of characters in the Filmation toon that already have Origins figures but I personally think don't need CC figures because Sorceress more or less looks the same in both toon and OG toy, probably because she was one of the last figures released in the 80s line. I mean do we need a CC Sorceress with EXTREME animation accuracy or would you rather have Mattel invest their resources in a different new figure? Same with Battle Cat. Cool to get Cringer (Though I think he's annoying) but we honestly don't need a CC Battle Cat.
