@cosmic im not sure. Mattel doesn't use numbers and the year for their waves just a season and the year. But typically what we see with all toys is the first wave of a given calendar year comes out a few months early.

I really like the Easter eggs on the back of the upcoming 200X figures. It makes me envious of the MotU Origins fans. I've been waiting for some of them for a long time. Given the franchise's current state of excess, the deluxe Samurai He-Man figure was to be expected. The franchise has never been crazier than it is today. These references, once shunned, may finally have their moment in the spotlight.

He-Man, Stratos, Tri-Klops, Skeletor, Evil-lyn, Man-at-arms, Teela, Roboto, Ram man, Mer Man, Trap Jaw, Beast Man, am I missing or misremembering the inclusion of anyone? Just saying it would be stupid for Mattel to already reveal all of next year for Origins. Really betting they'll fire off on all cylinders in terms of figures for next year's movie. Simple kid-oriented toys, Masterverse and maybe some Origins scale figures with actor likenesses? Who knows?

Ill definitely give some thoughts. I may do a video on all four figures. As for it being a scam one seller has 100% positive feedback the other 98.9% and yhe 98.9% guy's only negative review is complaining about the condition of the box.

Initially the Snakes and one two other figures were said to be a regular retail wave, then a Walmart exclusive then the popped up on Target then disappeared then BBTS and Amazon got them.

Modulok was always said to be fan channel but with Amazon getting him first. 

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see some remaining CC/POP figures go to MC. I think it would be better if they did three VC and three CC/POP and the three POG for the CG.

I was so curious how this one would turn out! It is as ridiculous as I expected. I will say they are staying 100% true to 200X spirit. Wether that’s a good thing… 😆 Others will have to judge.

@cosmic If I knew we were getting Samurai Skeletor I'd skip normal 200X He-Man and get this. As it is I'm really wonder how many of the 200X variants they'll make. As I recall this, the Battel Sound Skeletor and "Cold Weather" He-Man were the only ones to be in the show, but the toy line and so many more, some of which were kinda cool.

But nothing compares to this...

I like both Battle Sound versions (because vac metal), the Ice He-Man, and actually Snake Crush Skeletor w/ the long arms. Though I’m not sure if I need Origins versions of all of these…

But for those who enjoy them– I’m all for it!

Yeah, not digging this one. Whether Mattel wants to admit it or not, one of the biggest, if not the number one biggest, factors that led to 200X's premature demise was the overabundance of variants. In particular variants that were pointless as they had the same gimmick as an individual character. 

Why put out Mega Punch He-Man (He-man with big metal fist gloves) when there's Fisto? Why Snake Crush Skeletor when there's Sssqueeze? Why both Samuarai and Martial Arts He-Man instead of Jitsu and Ninjor? And don't get me started on the weird repaints.

It’s clear there were too many in 200X, and I never even realized the similarity of gimmicks!

I think though, if they keep it to a couple of them, I don’t see the harm. Like, I find it kinda tongue in cheek, ofc they know this one is kinda ridiculous.

While we're on the subject of 200x in Origins, are there any characters that were introduced in that show (Weren't in the original toyline nor Filmation) that you would like to see as Origins figures?

Watched the show a while back, but not every episode, and really liked it. Only real character in my mind I think would be cool to see that fits this category is Dekker.
