Optimus is not boxy enough for my taste (I did love that about Skeletor’s armor). I do like the sword and axe.

I’m also a bit over saturated with Hordak… need to digest a bit more. GITD is fun… I’m not sure. The devil guy is not bad… but again the weapons are what intrigues me the most.

Scareglow is honestly low on my MOTU character tier list don’t really care for him don’t even have his Origins figure despite collecting an absolute shit ton of them for half a yeah, but Starscream here sells me alone! The fact that he looks more like one than the other in Origins scale is also cool (sorry Scareglow fans).

seriously ‘Scream has to be among my top 10 characters in fiction alongside the likes of Astro Boy (people love manga and anime here in the west but the literal pioneer of them, Osamu Tezuka deserves beyond more recognition and respect here), Optimus Prime (my dream crossover duo), Sly Cooper, Silver the Hedgehog, Shadow the Hedgehog, Hordak (I need a DEATH Battle episode between the latter two) and a few others I can’t think of now.

Oh yeah my Bumblebee Armor Man-at-Arms and Megatron Armor Skeletor shipped out today with an expected delivery of October 3rd.

I know that automatically doesn’t determine how well they sold but I get the feeling they didn’t. Did they probably? If not then why are they making another one?

also they said these newly announced figures will eventually be available at Targets later right? Because as amazingly fast Mattel Creations is with their shipping, we can all probably agree getting the figure in store is a bit cheaper than having an $8 shipping fee.

Targets distribution has been notoriously bad. It's gotten better over the last year and a half, but when the first two Stranger Things sets came out, it was awful. I never saw a single one, but other places there were piles of them.

As far as getting these from Target, I think your best bet is to find them on the app or website get the DPCI number and take it to a Target when they're supposed to come out, pre ordering from Target just means you're going to get emails saying it was delayed and then canceled.

@smitty-81 Nah I think I may pass? Maybe? Will probably wait 'till it eventually comes out to judge. Again not a Stranger Things fan, but I have literally every Origins Hordak aside from that now seemingly irrelevant Power-con exclusive one and Hellfire-Man looks awesome as a design. If I do get it, it may be for novelty's sake. There are a good amount of Transformers I know nothing about as characters I just think their design looks cool.

Finally one of my neighbors took pity and brought up my parcels, and today I was sweating over freeing the two heroes from their package… all not so easy when u have certain physical challenges… but it’s all worth it!

She-Ra and Swiftwind packaging and figures looks amazing ofc. This is Origins, so of course it’s not as detailed as (ahem) Mondo etc, but for Origins this is high-end (considering the articulation of the big cats)! A whole new beast buck.

Whoever demanded a fully articulated horse though, will soon see that it isn’t so easy to actually pose a fully articulated horse realistically! Figuring out how to make it look good, not so easy!

But I got it to that point, and I’m happy. Was playing the Filmation music along to it haha 

@cosmic You're definitely preaching to the choir when it comes to horse poses. I remember when I acquired Swift Wind, and later Arrow, and how many times my eyebrows raised at the sight of an almost natural-looking creature in action (lol). But we got there in the end. 😉

The Man Child posted his review of the Sketchbook Series Spikor, and the least one can say about it is that the colors on this figure are striking! I was pleasantly surprised by the illustrations on the box, especially the one where he's in a distressing situation after being thrown into the Slime Pit. The next illustration shows him jumping out of the pit, transformed and furious—not just a simple zombie. I like that idea, as it adds to the mystery of the curse altar.

It is available to order next week at their Collector Con, I wonder if this is something that comes out sooner? Doesn’t the “Spring” Collection already arrive on Xmas sometimes? (or at least a limited contingent)?
