I'm glad they now have a horse mold, hopefully we'll get Charger, Scare Mare, Arrow and whatever horse I'm forgetting.

The order page for the Masters of the Universe Origins SHE-RA and SWIFT WIND 2-Pack is now live on the Mattel Creations website (available first to Club Grayskull members beginning on September 24, 2025 9:am PT.)

We have the Power!
Swiftwind’s back legs are not horse accurate, sadly. A bit like two people dressed up as a horse. But I’ll take it 😏
Remember the big cat articulation in early Origins, their legs are hard to pose… This isn’t Masterverse or Marvel Legends. Articulation is one step below… Which is generally ok.
@smitty-81 I was going to say, I don’t need SO many horses, but then, all of them you mentioned actually would be really fun to have.
For Teela, for Bow,… and yeah, Glowing Skeleton Horse!
Bow gets envious already...
@cosmic I could see them doing sets through Amazon and/or fan channels of VC PoP figures and their horsies.

@smitty-81 Would be interesting to see if they’d make them Cartoon Collection or Vintage Collection.

I think the horses were more connected to the toy line. Im not sure how many show up in the cartoon, but Swiftwind, Arrow and a yellow horse were in the mini comics, at least that I can remember. Also including a mostly unique figures with a horse that can be used five or six times seems like a cost effective plan.

Great to finally see clear images....and relieved to see he can be Spirit, fully. That IS great.
The mask is still wrong though, and the clear hair on She-Ra looks super weird. The cape is nothing fancy and the blue accessories are....odd?
Still nice packaging though.
I'm curious what the price point will be. And how hard a time everyone will have getting it.
Think those big wings will easily fall out of their tiny sockets?
I'm worried that She-Ra can't sit completely on Spirit thanks to her plastic skirt. Every picture that shows She-Ra sitting on the saddle either hides her pelvic area or is taken at an angle that I can't tell if there is a gap between her butt and seat.

Interesting how WE immediately thought about that very obvious concern, whereas Mattel opted to give her new translucent hair.

Youre shocked Mattel dont know what a horse is supposed to be like? We’re lucky they didnt do a snake body.
@cosmic it's probably just a mistake with the one they photographed. Remember Two-Bad's front butt, or when Man-at-Arms wore his chest armor upside-down?
Also the legs appear to be correct in every other picture.

@smitty-81 I don’t know… it looks to me they are wrong in every single picture where they can be seen, but in some they are hidden a bit, photographed in a flattering way, or in the package, they are straight.
Of course I hope for the best… 🤞
@admin I noticed that the Spikor packaging from the Sketch Book Series, which was published on September 1st via the Facebook page, was never relayed to the forum. Was this intentional?

So today.......I was at the Houston Celebrity Comic Con. Was amazing. First con I've ever been to on this scale. I met John Morris (voice of Andy in Toy Story), 90s child actress Mara Wilson, Jim Cummings and oh some guy you've probably never heard of...... FRANK F**ING WELKER!!
But one other one relates to MOTU. Famed voice actress, Grey DeLisle. The voice of Despara in the final minutes of Revolution. She was very nice, cosplaying as her favorite role, Azula from Avatar (The Nickelodeon cartoon). Got her to sign the cardback of my Mattel Creations Despara. From what I remember she didn't seem to be aware of this figure's existence and I explained. In regards to Despara, she told me Melandy Britt doesn't like her for some reason I don't know why. This may be news to the fandom. I know Britt doesn't like She-Ra 2018 for some reason, but knowing this, is she like against ANYONE new voicing any version of She-Ra or something?
Also this may be weird but what I got her to write above her signature is in the manner of Carmelita Fox from Sly Cooper, another one of her roles I briefly discussed with her (she didn't really have a line in that moment). Seriously if you have a PS4/5 play the Sly games they're great.
I honestly just wanted a signature from Carmelita on the cardback of a one-day-may-be-high-in-aftermarket-price online exclusive figure.

K, I know this ain't related to MOTU Origins, but yeah these people were all great to meet. Though like with Grey, my Jim Cummings autograph is weird in that his booth had pictures of his various characters but none of them were my favorite of his so he just thought it was odd when I chose Hondo Ohnaka from Star Wars Clone Wars and Rebels but asked him to write a message in the manner of Dr. Robotnik from Sonic SATam.
"Get that HEDGEHOG!"

Yes there is a Nostalgia Critic reference in here somewhere
@slycooperastroboy51 That’s really cool! Glad u had such a good time! Always nice when these folks turn out to be nice people.
Re: Melendy Britt and Despara, I could imagine she doesn’t like such an evil and monstrous looking version of Adora? I couldn’t image it’s b/c she’s “jealous” of anyone following her role.
But being not huge on Despara myself, I can see why someone working on the old, very charming, very sweet show wouldn’t love this iteration. (As for SPoPs, I don’t know; it’s maybe just too different for her? I’ve never heard of any of this; all speculation from me).
Irregardless of any of this, I think M. Britt is a national treasure ; her voice in original PoP is perhaps my favorite toon voice ever!

I yearn for her voice to resonate again, which would imply the return of the modern Motu cartoon (by Netflix or another platform, for that matter!).
The few lines she dubbed were filled with darkness and left me feeling hopeful. I'm still expectant to see this incredible character in motion, expressing her desire for more blood, terror, and despair. Those who have read the few media she appears in know what I'm talking about.
I can see where Britt is coming from.
Going from brainwashed, innocent, and thinking the Horde are the good guys to…
(brainwashed?), murderous, buzzcut, scary Adora is a bit different.
(I assume Despara was brainwashed with magic, too?)
Not a huge fan of Despara, but I can understand having her in some other more serious non-Filmation canons.
And she makes pretty cool figures. Have Classics and Origins Deapara, and that Materverse one looks pretty slick! Hopefully, Mattel learns to fix New Eternia female faces by the time she goes to production.
What the mega awesome Origins news?
CC Grayskull? CC Battlecat? Slime Pit?
I can't speak for Melendy Britt, but I hated how SPoPs sent the whole series giving the message that the power come from faith in yourself, then ended with true loves first kiss saving the day.
