I think Origins is Origins, and those wings are Mattel’s interpretation of the character, not part of her usual”Viacom” designs at all.

I think this is a fun curiosity, just Mattel reusing parts as they do, and not bothering with changing the little imprint on the item. I don’t think it means these wings (or Vultak) belong to Viakom… Just a funny blip in the continuum.

Yeah I think that's what's going on, Im sure there's some ToG parts they can't use in Origins, probably the heads, and maybe the shells. It'll be interesting to see if they ever use the "pseudo flying fists" torso again.

Is there a creations figure this month? I cant keep up with this shit anymore. The crap of keeping everything a secret until a few days before from these ass companies need to stop, especially when prices are more every time(mondo)

@banthafett It’s She-Ra with Swiftwind if I’m not mistaken. Not a secret, announced a while ago, I think it’s in the Mattel Creations calendar?

I’m sure AJ will post it here when it gets closer. I think it was the 24th.

If it were just showing up on the UK calendar or if it were just a Masters of the Universe released two days later, I would agree with you.But there are several releases on the 26th across multiple Mattel brands. Clearly, there is something going on on the 26th that they haven't felt the need to announce yet.

The "news" about Adora, Glimmer and Scorpia was a rumor or leak, Mattel isn't going to announce anything until late this month or in October. 

As for Swiftwind I expect we'll see official photos this week, or early next week.

How did you guys answer the survey? Said no to variants (which means one is coming by the end of the month) . Wrote please finish the vintage line, because once the movie comes out and bombs mattel will throw a fit and cancel all the lines thinking no one wants any items.

@banthafett (I somehow assumed it was Origins focused) I said my focus is more characters (vintage + never bef produced).

I said was ok with limited amount of variants added in of Surprising characters (no HM and S), as an example I liked Clamp Champ, Ninjor, Rattlor in ToG.

Said I loved the early Deluxes with additional hands, heads, effects etc. But if u must, give armor upgrades to others, not just HM!

Said No to more variants in Masterverse.

Yeah I told them "New Eternia" variants in Masterverse was all right, but even then concentrate on characters that haven't already been released five times in the line. Otherwise focus on individual characters not variants.

And give us more POP characters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great to finally see clear images....and relieved to see he can be Spirit, fully. That IS great.

The mask is still wrong though, and the clear hair on She-Ra looks super weird. The cape is nothing fancy and the blue accessories are....odd?

Still nice packaging though.

I'm curious what the price point will be. And how hard a time everyone will have getting it.

Think those big wings will easily fall out of their tiny sockets?

I guess the probability that Mattel Creations will deliver both Sting-Or and Dragstor before the end of the year is really high. They would take slots initially dedicated to Great Rebellion characters for She-Ra's 40th anniversary.

@disneyboy Well they’re trying to give us a bit of upgrade or at least differences to the regular CC She-Ra release. Even if yeah, some of them are a bit unusual. We can still use the regular She-Ra, too.

Maybe these wings are again the Vultak / April O’Neil wings? Which would explain small sockets, all in the name of reusing parts and mix-and-match (even if the latter doesn’t make much sense.)

Edit: The connector looks different / new / bit strange… but it may help to not fall out.

@smitty-81 Like I wrote in the news post comments, seeing Sting-Or in the promo pics could indeed support your theory that he’ll come two days after her…
