On principle I wouldn't pay them for that set if I was rich, you're telling them it's OK to treat you like shite and it'll only get worse. But that's not the only thing, it affects everybody going forward, whether they laughed in the face of it or not.

I don't think they'll just stop with the CC. Not with so many characters left. Its possible they'll shift the remaining CC figures to MC after the run out of nonvintage vintage characters to make up. With that we could see a MOTU figure every month.

No joke guys, I just ordered an Ebay lot of 3 Origins figures MIB for only $35 total thanks to the offering system (The seller's buy it now price was $40).
Zodac, CC Man-E Faces and CC Tri-Klops
two brand new (as in from this year)
One I really didn't desire to get before (CC Tri-Klops)
and one I already had (Zodac, will probably keep that one MIB)
Despite this I KNEW it was a steal I couldn't pass up.

Yes indeed! The plan is for separate pages and collection tabs for big sublines like "Cartoon Collection" and "Turtles of Grayskull" and perhaps an "Other" tab for smaller runs like Stranger Things, the Transformer crossover (if it stays small), etc.

The Snake Lair is now extended until the 2nd of September, presumably to catch people just getting paid.

@sketchyskeletor Mind you, things couldn't be better for me. I decided to wait for my Origins Fright Zone to arrive before making the final decision on how to set up my dedicated room, which was initially envisioned to accommodate two additional elements: The Slime Pit and the Doom Tower.
I think I've come around to being happy the Snake Lair got funded in the end....but what a debacle. It's a cute enough set, I guess, but this was *not* the correct way to do this.
Let's see how much enjoyment people get out of it once they have it...
Now if we could get an 87 movie sub-line. I want a proper Dolph He-man, Langela Skeletor and the whole crew in origins buck. I’ve been waiting since the movie came out for a Lubic figure with 12 gauge.
@sshook27 That's an idea... But ideally, they should produce their brand new takes on Saurod and Karg first. Seeing what Motuc Classics achieved with them has made me very excited to see how brilliant their Masterverse versions may turn out. For example, I'd like to see the return of a mouth-spark effect for Saurod and a fabric cape for Karg, as well as synthetic hair, the type of material they usually use for Grizzlor. I can't wait!

In my overeagerness I did checked two figures I (think) do not have though and cannot find an un-check button! 😫
@sketchyskeletor Speaking of Amazon, the Masterverse Vintage Collection Stratos has been listed as a pre-order item for weeks and is now available to buy in my country. The only inconvenience is the sporadic price fluctuations. On average, it swings from €34 to €26 every twelve hours and vice versa. These practices... I've had enough of them at this point.
I had to approve delays for the Target “Punch Action” 2-pack soo many times now… sometimes it’s just a couple days delay I think… why do they bother with these approvals. I don’t care if it’s a couple days later, really.

Tell me about it, Amazon were actually caught inflating prices in general at one stage in the hope of creating a trend in the wider market. They're scummy AF.
@cosmic In a way, I am grateful to Mattel Creations for addressing this issue when they discovered that their Fright Zone box set was facing a much longer delay. This meant that I could cancel my order and purchase the item from a French toy store much more quickly. I put it on display and made my final decision while the crowdfunding campaign for Snake Lair is still underway. Based on the available space in my room and my current layout logic for the MOTUC playsets I already have (Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain), I'm simply going to have to refrain from buying it. The good news is that I can wait patiently for the arrival of a Slime Pit and the ultimate Doom Tower, and push my ambition to the limit. Then this category of MOTU products will finally come to a close.

Don't get me wrong because it's all idiotic and counterproductive whatever the angle, but I imagine it's some lame attempt at offsetting card fees and eventual refunds. Though even that doesn't explain cancellations for shit that's in stock or immediately due or whatever!
