Got my shipping notification for Panthor - I ordered it within the last hour they were available, so I’m guessing they won’t be doing a second run unless it’s a regular version.
so everybody got an early shipment? does that mean sales was bad on these?
Hope not, but could be multiple reasons why
1. too expensive, right before the holidays
2. people may just want the flocked (and not be an idiot like me and buy both) And i still think nonflocked panthor and mossman look weird.
3. QC problems with battle cat, and Panthor being so close to the shipment of Bc, those problems will still not have been fixed as I will talk about.
When i got Panthor a few weeks, ago, i really didnt look him over because i was waiting for adam to come so he could be on panthor. But messing with him yesterday, hes just as floppy and loose as BC, heads fall off when you try to have him look up or to the side with helmets on. And i dont like the back body, and legs.too small and legs are to close together. I know some will say it suppose to be that way, but its hard to pose with the combo of too close legs and loose body, they cats just crumple up and fall over.

I forgot about the flocked version. that could be a big part of it. I saw some of the panthor heads people are getting have some nasty mold lines more than youd see in a 20 buck figure. Its wack

@he-dad I don’t collect mondo only because I don’t want to dump money in to yet another line. With the money they charge I’d expect no flaws at all

I can understand that. Statues seem to have a better track record when it comes to QC so maybe they're the better choice at that price.

Wish they would have put the correct pieces in the deluxe skeletor to make a terror claws. He needs that tiny tank top. 🤣 Disco does nothing for me, that 200x stuff.

I sorta put Mondo on pause a little while back due to money until well, maybe now. This guy looks amazing. I might have to pick him up since I’m headed to DesignerCon anyway.
I too, wish I had a Scare Glow. Ugh. And, I’m a little bummed I couldn’t get Trap Jaw and Beast Man but, maybe someday when I’m flush with money. 🤣 🤣 🤣

@banthafett which one what? did i miss an announcement? The retro scare glow is the only scare glow mondo is doing that I know of.
