We have the Power!
King Hsssss looks even better than I expected. Kobra Khan wasn’t on my bucket list, but is a welcome addition. Not sure how I’m feeling about the un-hooded head yet, but overall he looks pretty sweet.
200x Mer-Man looks fantastic. The paint apps on his skin are next level. Super excited for him. I wasn’t expecting the Ice Armour He-Man and Fire Armour Skeletor reveal. I think they both look great, but I’m worried about introducing variants so quickly in this line as opposed to new characters. I don’t want them to replicate the 200x line in every way if you catch my drift. It’ll be a huge internal debate as to whether or not I pick those two up. I’ve avoided all of the Mondo variant figures so far, but they’re both so different from the OG releases that I might have to splurge.
And we still have the panel later today that will have some more reveals! Plus Mondo still has a display case hidden with another figure inside! One last thing to note is that Kobra Khan was still being painted by Hector a few days ago for the show, so I’m thinking the final paint will be done by Mark Bristol like the other figures. His paint looks a lot rougher than all the other figures.
