According to the description, Chronicles isn't Masterverse rebranded. It says Chronicles is a collector focused line based on the new movie. So I'm hoping Masterverse & NE continue the same as they have been. I only care about New Eternia & getting the rest of the Snakemen & more POP. I don't give a s**t about more He-Man & Man-At-Arms figures.
Yeah probably healthier to not go nuts about unofficial info yet.
I’m worried about my MV, but even if this info is correct, it doesn’t say anything about what’s going on *outside* of these two new lines.
@sketchyskeletor I have NE She-Ra as my first MV figure I recently bought along with Terror Claws Skeletor. Also since then have gotten Leech. Have ordered Princess of Power Hordak and NE Viking He-Man from BBTS and also currently have NE Tri-Klops in my Pile of Loot.
I mainly plan to collect the NE figures, but if there are any other great MV figures for a good price, or just okay looking ones for a low sale price (2021 Netflix He-Man and Skeletor and Sun Man currently on BBTS) then I may get them.
Just unboxed POP Hordak. It looks great but the figure overall is so ass when it comes to quality. 😭
His box came damaged, which honestly I could excuse because it was among and inside a box of a big pile of loot I got from BBTS.
Then I open it, his head is a bit dirty, a clip on the side of his chest armor is cut off and dear god his arms.
I knew his arms were loose before getting him from watching video reviews of him but combined with all the other issues......yeah I'm glad I got this on sale for $16 compared to the full price $35 but purely for the awesome deluxe accessories. Mainly the crossbows, claw hand and big blast effect.
Hoping to get New Etheria Hordak for Christmas and yeah he looks and is superior in every way and I'm glad I've gotten what is essentially a glorified accessories pack.
Like man, design wise, my boy looks perfect as a combo of Filmation and OG toy and they blew it. 😭
Hordak is my favorite MOTU character BTW
May even get the Revolution Emperor Hordak figure which otherwise I would've seen as worthless because of his lack of accessories other than usual alternate hand pairs and just a damn staff....well I have some now.....

Said it before on here, I reckon certain figures get treated as accessory packs because if nothing else it takes multiple He-Men to make a truly good one...
Even in the worst-case scenario, I can still focus all my attention and budget on Mondo 200X figures, which have been reorganised in terms of quantity (there will be no more bundles, just one figure per offering).

Same here...funny enough, Toy Habits deleted the article about the Chronicles...anyways, I think they misunderstood the point totally...2 new lines will follow the movie, it got nothing to do with Masterverse or rebranding it...it is like Revelation/Revolution, it was based on the Netflix cartoons...makes no sense at all to give up NE or VC...it would be suicide...

It’s still possible Chronicles will turn out what we thought I’d be– in scale with 7in and basically a rebrand of Masterverse.
In that way, it could first feature exclusively movie figs (like MV did, at first with MOTU:R), and then introduce other sublines? Hopefully something similar to New Eternia, (if not with the same name), along with other MOTU iterations / sublines.
The name “Chronicles” seems to hint at that…
And NE is basically reimagined versions of classic characters, and they could do that in any other subline.
@cosmic that article from Toy Habits said something about 5 inch figures...idk...we'll see...I hope they know what they doing, cause I think a lot of people will leave

Suspense can be enjoyable, but it's obviously a double-edged sword. I'm curious to know how close Masterverse is, particularly the Star subline NE, to falling into the abyss. Obviously, the focus is on how far we could delve into New Eternia, and the prospect of having to start all over again may be very hard for me to accept this time. I have placed too much faith in its future.
@onlyoneskeletor well, they can at least complete the main roster...at the moment, we are about 15 figures away from that...that's doable in a year time (more-less), if they don't stray away with unnecessary 2.0 versions of certain characters... I think we all deserve that
heroic warrios - Rio Blast, Rokkon,Stonedar and Extendar
skeletor crew - Saurod, Blast Attack
horde - Modulok, Multi Bot
Snakemen - Hiss, Rattlor, Lashor, Squeeze and Snake Face
that's 13 figures...basically, the main roster would be completed...now, we can always add variants of some characters

Well, thats weird! On Amazon, my wave 19 pre-orders are due in February. But wave 20 are due in January. Why the hell are they releasing wave 20 before 19?
I just pre-ordered wave 20 + Origins 200x Evil-Lyn & Marlena.
Usually, there's nothing going on in Jan or Feb.
@sci-fitsunami I believe that stuff comes in multiple rounds of shipments, like BBTS who sells out often, an early batch, and then you have to wait 1-2 months and then they have the next load.
Apparently, either Amazon did not get an early load, OR they sold that allotment before you ordered? So you (and me) are getting the second batch, which feels kinda long to wait.
(I’m getting Mosquitor hopefully, from them, and just ordered Despara; spreading out my orders not to get hit all at once by BBTS).
I also got Evil-Lyn and Marlena Origins, but Masterverse, I had to get all of them. And the Red She-Hulk. 😏
Just not everything from the same place.
I don't really care for Keldor but that head is perfect for some custom MOTU zombies. I bought a couple extra Revelation Moss-Mans to make something similar to the old GI Joe Zombie Vipers from 2011.

I don't understand this. I see some of them sitting on Kidinn/Tradeinn like Kobra Khan. So it looks like they don't sell. But when I tried to order Battle Armor Skeletor & Snake Goddess Teela from them, they canceled my order & said they were out of stock. But then they showed up in stock again for a short time.
Battle Armor Skeletor sold out fast and then shot up to over $100. But others that sold out immediately in the States like Kobra Khan are still around. You can still get him for around $40.
But then movie Blade & Beast Man also shot up to stupid prices. I wanted to get Blade to make a custom Fisto but I didn't pre-order him & totally missed out.
I just don't get whats going on with this line. I'm trying to understand & keep up but there is just no rhyme or reason.

Essentially, Mattel doesn't care who takes the inventory so long as someone does. Hasbro did it a while back with their Velocitron subline. A nightmare in the states while UK stores were practically giving them away they'd so much. It's not an error, as you probably know it happens way too often. It's an unnecessary slap for the fans and just pushes collectors towards slowing down at best then stopping altogether at worst. Especially with MOTU, countless FB groups and forums have people selling up because here's yet another incomplete line one way or another... it doesn't help when Mattel apparently deliberately limit production on the movie figures (I think maybe Lyn and the shite leads are still around)
Tradeinn are shady. They'll charge you individual parcel weight yet only ship one item then cancel the rest, for instance.

I wasn’t checking that day until the evening, then he was gone and never restocked. (I only found out through TNI that evening).
Sometimes, when (continental?) Europe doesn’t get a figure, a lot of them might order on BBTS. Their international shipping is pretty good.
I sure hope my orders on Amazon will come through. I preordered Despara there, to spread my orders so they won’t all charge at once…
@sketchyskeletor This stuff happened towards the end of the vintage line, too… Makes me nervous. Shows they are already thinking about the next thing and are not putting their resources into MV anymore. Production runs might be pretty low, too.
At least, stuff shows up on BBTS and Amazon and EE, but you have to be ON it, it gives me anxiety lol
I sure hope we’ll have an adequate follow-up / continuation to MV at 7inch please! I don’t care if it starts movie heavy. Just, keep it going Mattel!
