New Eternia Teela is only good for the accessories. Between that facesculpt, the headdress not staying on and the gaps between her thighs and her outfit... sheesh. Vintage is inbound anyway.
Maybe Jitsu? The hand is quite small for that character!
Oh, New Etheria She-Ra unless you like that very particular look.
I think that's about it, there really aren't many true clunkers!
@sketchyskeletor I have NE She-Ra as my first MV figure I recently bought along with Terror Claws Skeletor. Also since then have gotten Leech. Have ordered Princess of Power Hordak and NE Viking He-Man from BBTS and also currently have NE Tri-Klops in my Pile of Loot.
I mainly plan to collect the NE figures, but if there are any other great MV figures for a good price, or just okay looking ones for a low sale price (2021 Netflix He-Man and Skeletor and Sun Man currently on BBTS) then I may get them.
@slycooperastroboy51 I really think if you just check out the pics online, order what is appealing to you, you can’t go wrong. Everybody’s taste is a bit different. For example I love NE She-Ra 🤷 But I only have Revolution BA He-Man and don’t like the other HMs much. Etc etc
Not sure if I mentioned this to you before, when y’all were discussing favorites etc, NE Man-At-Arms has a mustache look AND a non-mustache. You can make a really nice classic MAA out of him, except the loin cloth is more of a leathery, Conquistador / Roman type of skirt.
”Vintage” MAA gives you more of a classic vintage look, (no mustache), but it also depends which colors you like best (they are a bit different), and which face you prefer for the mustache-less MAA.
Of course, you can just get both, and mix-and-match! AND even get more Duncan’s, and go nuts! Endless possibilities! 😵💫 😅
Well that sucks! Horde Trooper SOLD OUT. I wanted to get a couple more of them & I have been refreshing the page hoping to catch a sale. I wanted to repaint 1 black & 1 red.
Now all I can do is pay double on eBay or wait for them to actually repaint them. I'm not holding my breath for the 2nd option.

Ross is getting NE Teela, Hordak & Kobra Khan. I checked my Ross on Saturday & today & they don't have any MOTU. Their toy dept. is now overloaded with garbage just like Ollie's. I never see any MOTU at Ross.

I want the same oversized ones repainted. But Mattel will probably never make them, only Origins gets the cool repaints like that. So I'll probably have to pay $50 each on eBay. I didn't think they would sell out. I hate how unpredictable this line has become. It was more fun to collect back when it was super easy & over-produced.

Of course, if you wait too long the EBay prices might get a bit higher. But perhaps it would make sense to wait a short while to see if Creations will get them again.
Isn’t Panthor the only Creations Masterverse that sold out? Maybe they have a different production approach with the figures, compared to Origins.
@cosmic Don't get lost there. Masterverse has also experienced its "heyday", with several figures selling out. Webstor, Fisto, Randor, Trap Jaw, Beast Man and a few others. However, nothing compares to the striking demand for the Origins line, which has definitely proven to be more viable over time. These days, however, it's 50/50 in terms of sales performance.
@onlyoneskeletor What I meant was Masterverse Creations releases. Of those, I think only Panthor ever sold out permanently? Who’s technically not a figure, but a beast / vehicle.
So I think there’s a sliver of hope the Trooper will return. But you’re right, these days things are unpredictable! And with the Trooper being an army builder and a “vintage” release, they may have sold a lot of them.
I wouldn’t mind if he comes back, since I can’t find the helmet / upper armor of mine 😬 Currently always in Goblin mode! Don’t know what happened to it, and have considered getting a second one. Might be too late, as it seems… Goblin mode forever 😅
@cosmic Oh, I see. Regarding the Horde Trooper, though, thanks but no thanks! He's such a big figure that if I were to army build, I would have to sacrifice a lot of the perspectives I have planned for my overall display. What was conceivable during the Motuc days is no longer. The MV figure doubles that body mass.

@durendal However long it took, it is good to see HT and Panthor sell out. A couple of years ago it was unheard of something Masterverse selling out on MC.

It never went on sale though. I have 2 at regular price. But I wanted to get 2 more on sale to repaint. I didn't want to pay full price for the customs. I try to get my custom fodder cheap on sale or clearance. Vykron, Motherboard & Dark Lyn sat there on clearance for ages but the Horde Trooper never even went on sale once.
Oh well. It's not that important. Would've been cool but I have too many other things I'm working on.

@yen1893 it's probably just a rebranding of the line so retailers think it's a new product.

I hear ya, but don't be surprised if it's an AI/copy and paste goof on Mattel's part. Wouldn't be the first time.
My best guess is Masterverse under a new name and they got the sizes wrong. 30 POA at 5.5 scale would be quite the achievement lol.
