Ouch! New Etheria She-Ra, Terror Claws Skeletor & Ninjor showing up at Ross.

They need to stop with the whole 'reimagining' thing. It's only ever successful when the figure is TRULY stellar like Battle Armour Skeletor or the recent Evil-Lyn. The rest pretty much die on their ass (fans might like them but that's not enough when you've bought cases and distribution is wrecked). And to cap it off they make vintage an exclusive!
Ramen Toy announces “Carrion Carrier” – HE-MAN.ORG https://share.google/kXy0gGqGcZcHeOs8d
Damn! Ramen Toys is stupidly overpriced. Nacelle would have been so much better. Nacelle's Spiderflyer & Dragonflyer are only $40 each with motorized wings & light up eyes.
How much is that thing gonna be? $300? Close to Haslab/crowdfund price? Going by their overpriced M.A.S.K. line I won't be able to afford it.
I never liked Battle Bones as a figure carrying case, even as a kid I thought it was pretty stupid. But with those alt ribs that look totally realistic I definitely LOVE/want it. But I'm currently trying to get 6 Titan Transformers that are around $200 each so....😧

Hopefully not too expensive because it's literally barebones lol.

lol I see what you did there!
But it is almost 3 feet long, with springs, interchangeable ribs & can fit Masterverse. So Ramen will probably jack the price up higher than it needs to be. And then use the same old, tired, lame excuses that it's 3rd party, a smaller production run & "Adult Collectible" which are always BS excuses to rip our bank accounts a new one. Nacelle & Chinese 3rd party Transformers companies already showed that it doesn't have to be that way. The Chinese 3rd party companies are making better Transformers KOs for 1/4 the Hasbro price.

See I don't know how to judge Ramen because I ordered their Super MUSK sewer playset and it kicked the arse off every competitor in every way. Equally, their Centurions figures seemed crazy expensive. So...
anyone else having issues with missing or extra accessories? I've had a few instances since they changed over to the newer style boxes with the extra accessories stuck in the bag in the side.
My New Eternia Trap Jaw came with two hooks but was missing his claw
I just got Mosquitor he came with two of the curved blade nose/gun attachments but thankfully nothing missing.
and the one that really upsets me: My New Eternia Kobra Khan was missing his venom spray effect!
@sketchyskeletor Yeah i think Ramen Toy is pretty high end, and while their prices are high, anyone who studies economics knows the low production run has some truth to it.
And that Chinese companies can undercut any price in any segment, is probably not at all because they use slave labor. 🤷
Anyway, Ramen Toy is not my segment, I cannot justify spending that kinda money, but I do admire their designs, and it seems really high quality. Like the 3rd party TraFo stuff that is really expensive.
I have been pondering their Bravestarr / Thirty-Thirty. That horse-bot looks pretty rad.
The M.A.S.K. Shark + Gloria Baker was my most wanted vehicle in the 80s but they never made it. Ramen made it but the price is ridiculous. I really wanted it until I saw the price.
@sci-fitsunami Yeah i would love to have that, too!
Maybe there’s a chance the Usual Suspects will make it,… but I feel they’ll only redo the vintage stuff :/
No New Eternia Castle Grayskull announced yet? No? Nothing yet? I'm outie.

If they'd any fucking wit at all they'd establish a proper made to order precedent with that. Just about the entire fandom would take an interest from retro heads through Classics and Origins to Masterverse fans.
Toy Habits live stream tonight says Wun-Dar coming to Masterverse.
Mattel is running out of He-Man variants. How much you wanna bet after Wun-Dar it will be He-Skeletor? lol
@sci-fitsunami I could get on board with Wun-Dar if they give him the NE treatment and plus him up like AE He-Man instead of being a boring repaint.

Wait a minute! That didn't make any sense.

Yo. So I'm new to this topic. I've been collecting Origins figures and a LOT of them and I mean a LOT. Since April.
I've see Origins as the "Fun collector figures" with the retro scale, 80s figures and vehicles with updated modern toy engineering, all the fun crossovers, Cartoon Collection, etc. while I've seen Masterverse as the "Collector collector" figures akin to Star Wars Black Series, DC Multiverse and Marvel Legends. Not to diss it in any way but I've been more of an Origins guy.
BUT BigBadToyStore always has these figures on sale, especially right now with Black Friday coming up, so I'm thinking "Sure, why not? I'll get some."
The only figure I'm deadset on getting is Princess of Power Hordak because he just looks like the best Hordak figure on the market.
But I came to this forum/topic with recommendations. I would like to hear which Masterverse figure of He-Man, Skeletor, Duncan, Teela, Evil-lyn, etc. are the best of the main characters? Or really any Masterverse figure recommendation in general.
BBTS for a while has had the set of the four wave 1 Masterverse figures based off Revelation from 2021(He-Man, Skeletor, Moss Man and Evil-Lyn). I know they might not be the best in quality especially compared to recent figures, which is honestly standard for first waves of figure lines, but do you guys think it's a decent start if I want to collect Masterverse? Especially for just $40?
Heard Moss Man is the best out of the four I think.

Depends on 2 factors I'd say...
Headsculpts - they're not great compared to what followed, arguably, despite still being half decent figures.
The new vintage line/New Eternia - are you thinking of having only one representative character? Because we're swimming in Duncans, Teelas etc already so picking and choosing is relatively easy if so.
I'd personally buy the newer releases if you can, they're more Classic (pun intended) and versatile as a result I'd argue.
Just got my first two Masterverse figures courtesy of a Ross store that were selling them for $10 each. New Eternia Terror Claws Skeletor and New Etheria She-Ra. They also had the Ninjor from the same wave but I think I'll put off on him for now.
Wun-Dar is coming to the Vintage Collection so he should have the new bigger body & the 40th He-Man head. He-Man > Faker > Wun-Dar. Easy no-brainer repaints. We have Ninjor now so where the hell is Slamurai?

Ninjor is the hardest one to get from the wave & the one that sold out first. I would've grabbed him first.
If you want to start collecting this line, you need to know that there is always 1 figure in each wave that sells out everywhere within the first couple days after the pre-orders drop. I always try to predict which one it will be and get my orders in early.

Congrats on your first MV figures! I don’t have that Skeletor but I have various others which I like. I’m considering him.
That She-Ra has a bad rep but I happen to like her. Interesting redesign. 👍
I’d get that Ninjor soon, especially for that price. He is harder to get, like others mentioned. And he’s a really great figure!
Through some amazing BBTS sales and my Pile of Loot, I just ordered New Eternia Viking He-Man (Thank god he comes with a normal head and otherwise makes him look like a standard He-Man) and Princess of Power Hordak. In case y'all don't know Hordak is my favorite MOTU character. I've heard the POP one has semi-loose arms but he's on sale and ideally one of the best in terms of design and accessories. A fusion of his original toy and Filmation versions.
His newer New Etheria figure is also high on my Masterverse want list. I particularly love the way his cape doubles as wings.
My dream MOTU figure from Origins or Masterverse is Entrapta. Either 80s or 2018 I don't care, in fact with all the collabs Mattel has been doing with MOTU, I'm hoping they can get rights sorted out with Universal/Dreamworks to finally make Dreamworks She-Ra figures. Aside from her and that version of Hordak, I would hypothetically want the 2018 versions of Bow, Scorpia and Horde Prime (the latter, THAT would be awesome)
big Entrapdak shipper here
I just want the adorable hyperactive ASD (I'm of one myself) quirky science obsessed geek girl who either isn't aware nor really cares that she's building machines for destruction or even genocide to be displayed next to her beloved wannabe dictator tyrant cyborg has-major-brother/daddy-issues clone of a soulmate
