You had better not ignore that wish list. Technically, it shouldn't be that far from what you should be planning to do in future. I'm going to exclude the vintage collection figures, as collectors already know what the future tandem is. Dragon Blaster Skeletor (absolutely necessary at this point!), Scareglow and Pink Sorceress (both seen on recent cardbacks), King Hsss, Prince Adam (I think New Eternia could work wonders with him), MOP Demon Red Wolf (also seen on cardbacks), and last but not least, Flogg! Why Flogg? First, it's about time you showed a little more respect to that media. Second, the Motherboard box revealed a few trademarked names, including his. And now that the redesigned Keldor character from the Multiverse comic series was shown at the SDCC convention, and bearing in mind that he was thrown in a pot with many other different MOTU characters, such as the Mutants of Denebria, well...
I suppose the bottle I threw into the sea this morning is still far from being retrieved (LOL).
so wave 20 and VC Teela will come out spring 2026 ??? The rest is already available...
Nothing new for Masterverse… I guess they showed *too* much at the ComicCons…?
I guess they also don’t want to show the supposed “reboot” / movie figures etc too early, so these remaining NE figs won’t become “lame ducks”, making some buyers wait instead for the rebooted new beginning. Nobody wants a DCEU situation heh
@yen The 20th wave hasn't been made available for pre-order yet. That's the last bone they're throwing us for a while. @cosmic The imminent release of movie figures, most likely via the (rebranded??) Masterverse line, makes me nervous as it may negatively impact the few slots allocated for these figures. This is especially concerning given that one slot has already been removed compared to last year. So I hope that the rumoured Motu Chronicles line will be separate and won't interfere with the development of the current toyline. As compassionate as I can be, I don't want to experience the sudden delay that happened to the Vintage Origins characters.

I’m concerned, too, but I think it’ll be unavoidable that the movie figures will interfere… but then, New Eternia used to share their slots with Revolution, PoP,… So I assume Chronicles will share with the new movie figures 😬 But yeah, there are less slots to share nowadays…
But I think the movie figures will be pretty good, too, I wouldn’t be surprised if we’ll be swayed by them… and if not, I guess it’ll be the time my out of control MV collecting can slow down a bit…
@cosmic At this point, all I'm asking for is the chance to replace most of my MOTUC figures that lack posing dynamics. If Mattel could renew 75% of the vintage catalogue, I'd be happy (no matter which subline helps to do so: NE, Vintage Collection, etc.). As for the rest, I'm open to possible mounts, creatures, or even vehicles that may be released from this film, especially if it gives us the opportunity to complete what Classics left behind, but I don't want any more character replicas from another Motu film. I don't usually get excited about that, at least judging by my connection with the '87 movie, despite their presumed nostalgia factor. So, all in all, things should be fine economically speaking. And in those troubled times when the 200X Mondo line has just launched, well, you know what I mean... 😓

I know what you mean in terms of how fans will perceive it (and rightly so), but realistically the subline titles never meant much anyway. New Adventures just disappeared. Same with RotS. New Eternia/New Etheria can mean anything from reinterpretation to concept art to prototype design. And so on. I suspect Chronicles will just be a catch-all term that let's them lump everything under the same artwork.
Hopefully it gets us away from 'Grayskull exploded' or whatever the fuck that storyline is supposed to be lmao.
I gotta say, I'm really pleased with how AE He-Man turned out. Even though I'm still not a fan of this buck, the almost metallic-black that Mattel used looks great. I like his harness and bracer designs as well.
And, to top it off, the weapons are badass. I love the idea of this unstoppable, evil He-Man traveling the Multiverse ®, slaying several different versions of He-Man and keeping their swords as trophies.
Keldor will be another fun addition... although, I'm not too keen on his MV design...

I dont dig Keldor's body paint...why not painting it blue to match his fists and face ? the rest of the figure is nice though...
@yen1893 It’s kind of like Prince Adam… or Adora, for that matter. Painted on undershirt… has precedent.
@ornclown Though that aspect was a bit gruesome for me, it is exactly referencing the Masters of Multiverse comic… always love such cross references 😃
Someone mentioned elsewhere that one of the Adora heads reminds him of the hairstyle of the 2018 series… will be curious to see if it’s really a ponytail!
Meanwhile, I’m not a fan of Keldor as character or his cliché villain look usually, but I’m really into this version, especially the transforming head. Just a lot more going on than Skeletor with a 90s metal head. (Also like his REV look).
@cosmic One thing is for sure: I'm going to slow down in my quest for this 20th wave, which might be the last after a long while — if it happens at all — before returning to the current context, which features both NE and more punctual VC characters. The inevitable focus on film merchandise is just around the corner...

I totally get it, but since overpaying on Blade and Battle Armor Skeletor, I’m not taking any risks, even though I usually enjoy savoring these things, too…
Speaking of, just opened my Anti-Eternia He-Man, and I’m thrilled. He displays magnificently, that shield, those swords,… the bracers, the bit of red in the black limbs… And the German fans have the first official parts showing Castle Hellskull 🤩
@cosmic Haha! Don't fret, in my universe, decelerating is barely noticeable. 🤣 I must be a descendant of Rio Blast. I sincerely rejoice at the unexpected delight you experienced today. By the way, isn't Germany the country where Anti-Eternia was born? I should have them in my hands already, but it's just a matter of hours.

Yes, that’s what I meant with Hellskull etc. It’s probably all the German fans who buy all these AE He-Men everywhere! (Having spent my childhood there, I can relate!)
We’ve had several versions of him, but the castle has never appeared in official plastic.
It’s exciting for the respective fan-community whenever a piece of national Kanon is integrated into official US MOTU.
And I believe Germany is the second biggest market for MOTU!
@cosmic I have heard that many times, and I have experienced it too. The starting of my collection back in 2011: a time of sweaty chases after specific Motuc figures. The rightfulness of this chase: due to the large number of trains to be caught up with. I frequently found myself turning to this country as a solution. Not to mention the incredible deals I got on the rarest Staction figures, such as Jitsu, Leech and Mosquitor. The same thing happened when I put my MOTUC figures up for sale on eBay — 80% of them were sold to German buyers. No more suspense here (lol).

Despara with a Kabuki mask and two headsculpts that look nothing like Adora is a swerve from me. Why do they keep doing this to her?
Overall, I'd give the figure 10/10. The alternate head (long hair) is what I would designate a triumphant and contemporary reinterpretation of the Motuc figure, which was also realised with great exactitude for its era.

Hope: Hawke, any POP girls, any Snakemen. And I really wish they would make that female Beast-Man they keep teasing on the boxes. Vintage collection Scare-Glow, Stinkor, Spikor, Webstor & Buzz-Off.
