Masterverse She-Ra is randomly on Cretins... along with some weird Masterverse multi-listing that doesn't actually work. Classic Cretins.
I hate the $8 shipping but I got my Moss Man.
They would most likely charge $65 for a flocked version. Flocking one yourself is super easy.
Oh lol, was gonna check out Moss Man and maybe order him. But oh boy, 58€ plus shipping, wtf. The Horde Trooper - also an oversized figure - was 35. Mattel has completely lost the plot imho.
@lasastard What? Look, you'd better contact customer services, because their standard courier shipping fees never exceeded 10 euros for me as a French resident. Well, until this year, apparently, when the service increased slightly (+ €1). But it's still a really good deal to order from them, no matter the size of the product nor the resulting parcel.
@OnlyOneSkeletor right, partly my mistake for not realizing that they put him behind their silly little pay wall, which added 10€ to the overall price.
I mean, I hated the idea of CG from the get go, but I assumed it would be for "special" items, not a core character from an otherwise retail line.
I hereby give up on Mattel, finally. I will still consider getting Stonedar from Origins, if/when he comes out, but I just don't see myself continuing with MOTU at this point.
@lasastard This virtual obstacle will disappear in no less than nine hours. Quite frankly, I'd be really surprised if he was liquidated in the meantime. Best of luck!
@lasastard wait, I thought the price was 35$ at Mattel Creations website...I don't know about the shipping though...
Are you guys all Club Grayskull members? I haven't joined yet. Is the forum over there better than this one? Is it more active? Does Mattel actually read the comments over there? Any Mattel employees interact with the fans?
Can I bitch & moan about the lack of POP characters & have Mattel actually see it? That alone would be worth the price of the membership. lol
@lasastard Yikes, he was only behind that paywall for 24 hours, then he’s available for anyone without the membership… sorry you walked into that trap 😬
I mean, there are some exclusives that are members-only, and since I collect (vintage-styled) Origins, too, it was worth it for me…
I also know that there is a bit of a higher price on the European Mattel Creations sites, at least on the German one.
It’s all a bit of a maze to get your stuff these days…!
EDIT: I got shipping notice from not only Moss Man, but also my Amazon Kobra Khan is going to arrive next week already supposedly! (Original date was October 2nd). I’m excited!
@sci-fitsunami Oh I could never, besides my inability for technical stuff in general, these days my physical condition prevents me from such indulgences…
I’ll gladly take a flocked MV MM, but hopefully it will be less than $65 😬
As for Club Grayskull, I try not to go crazy with my online habits, so I don’t visit over there too often… but it is active, and the Mattel people do claim to read. Or maybe skim 😜 Probably better chance than here…
Although sometimes it’s 65 times the same reply (“hurry up with the vintage characters”), so maybe there IS a better chance to stick out with a message on here…
Ah Creations is pushing back my Moss Man delivery, boo!
They used to be so fast to NYC, from a distribution center in Pennsylvania. Really not far. It used to be just a day or two from the first shopping notification! It was amazing!
Now it takes at least 5 days, with the shipment sitting around at FedEx for a day here, a day there… cheapest shipping option galore!
BBTS also got worse… it’s the age of crapification 😏
Jeez! I want to order Moss-Man but it's $47.19 with tax & shipping. $50 for 1 Masterverse figure is ridiculous. Especially knowing that if it was released in Target you could get him for $15 or $20. I'm just gonna have to wait for a sale.
I'm with you.
Even though Masterverse Panthor recently sold out, I'm willing to wait and see if they discount Moss Man ... the current price is a little high for Australian customers.
WANTED IN MASTERVERSE:
'87 Movie Man-At-Arms, '87 Movie Skeletor Trooper, '87 Movie Teela, New Eternia Masks of Power Demons, New Eternia Queen Marlena (White Space Outfit).
WANTED IN MONDO 200X 1/12 SCALE:
Disco Skeletor, King Miro, Count Marzo, Kex Queen, Ambrosia Webstor, King Grayskull and many, many more.
@cosmic My experience with Mattel Creations shipping: Dark Lyn (two months before shipping), Vykron (five days), Motherboard (three days), and Randor, Beast Man, Roboto and Panthor (two days). And then... The Fright Zone! Let's just exclude this as it's the worst example anyone could find (LOL). But yeah, I agree, they were pretty reactive with the deliveries. Regarding BBTS, though, I'd say that I'm really excited about their ability to quickly intercept the latest Masterverse waves, just like EE. So I suppose your complaint is about other products. @abaddon So, has the MV Panthor finally sold out? That's excellent news for future big mounts — fingers crossed!
@abaddon I did the calculations yesterday and ended up ordering. For where I'm at, it actually ended up being a cheaper (albeit only slightly) than waiting.
@djfor I think you made the right decision. Things have been so unpredictable lately in our ability to actually get these products: availability, distribution, and, more importantly, speculation. So, the faster the problem comes to a resolution, the better I sleep at night.
My problem is that I have a big Star Wars Micro Galaxy Squadron order on Amazon set for an October 1 release which means they will charge me at the end of Sept. So money is tight as hell this month. Next month will be fine to order Moss-Man but not this month. Also the Siege Skywarp reissue that I've been waiting years for is due this month. And I think Origins She-Ra/Swift Wind will be released this month. Majority of my pre-orders were set for Sept./Oct. Moss-Man probably won't sell out but I think She-Ra might. And my absolute top priority are the TIE Defenders. Once I get my TIE Defenders I can put MGS on the back burner along with Origins & mainly focus on Masterverse. I want to get to the point where I am only collecting Masterverse. I can no longer afford multiple different lines.
And we are now in the holiday sale season where there will be tons of awesome deals all over the net. I already missed Vintage Zodac at Ross for $10. Already missing deals.
@onlyoneskeletor I recently read something about Australia Post suspending shipping to the US re some tariff dispute. Whether it is true or not I have no idea. So I am hoping I made the right choice for the sake of some measly dollars.

Yup! It's all over the news. A bunch of countries suspended shipping to the States. Hitler 2.0 aka Donnie Dementia started a war with the entire world & he needs to be removed immediately. I can't believe they gave 1 man so much power.
@onlyoneskeletor My complaint about BBTS was just that their shipping used to be very quick (for me), reliably so. And they are nowhere near me! It took just a few days.
Now it’s much slower. Still not bad. But it seems everyone has slowed down to the level of EE, who used to be the slowest.
Otherwise I still love BBTS! Their prices are solid, and if you check often, you can get the things that eventually will be overpriced second market items. And Pile of Loot is awesome.
@cosmic I'll add that their catalogue is very impressive! There are so many brands and figures that you won't find anywhere else.
