@cosmic To each their own, of course, but I like that they speed up the filling of factions periodically. This means we can hope to go back to the more forgotten ones sooner rather than later (NA), or even start venturing more seriously within the Snake Men faction, for example. I mean, collecting in such a random way can make the experience tiresome over the years.
@onlyoneskeletor My take is the easiest thing to do for them and more importantly us is rerelease figures that just disappeared whether older or in need of an immediate new run like Blade and Ninjor. Have those help balance the books. Especially since it'll renew interest in things like the movie figures, NA, concept...
@sci-fitsunami actually I was wondering the same thing about Dragstor :)...maybe they didn't reveal all of his accessories...but the figure looks amazing no doubt
Masterverse still feels like an afterthought. A tiny blip of nothing off to the side. I wonder if that will ever change? Swift Wind was just revealed & it's for Origins while I've been wanting one for Masterverse.
Quality over quantity lol
@sci-fitsunami He'd put his arms to his waist, sorta acting like a trike.
So his legs just kinda drag on the ground? Thats what the silver panels are for? I'm tryin to imagine him in action in a live-action movie.
When I get mine I'm gonna find a way to put the wheels on his feet like Sideswipe from Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen. I can easily create a totally new character from that figure. I'll have to pre-order more than 1.

I imagine the idea is he goes so fast he's like a bullet and his legs barely get time to fall he covers so much distance. I mean originally he had one wheel lol.

Yeah, I always thought the character was really cool looking but his gimmick was kinda dumb. (same with Mekaneck & a few others)
I’m just really happy that MV Dragstor has a proper wheel in his torso, that actually moves, after the fake mock-wheel they did in Classics (nice as that figure was).
No such thing as “dumb” gimmicks 😜 They were kids toys after all. And somehow, I love Mekaneck more now than back then.
I'm not surprised, as this YouTuber is known for getting them even before they've been placed in their own blister cards (lol). New Etheria Hordak review:
@onlyoneskeletor he said he also has Kobra Khan, and that he bought both figures on Ebay...how is that possible that some random guy on Ebay has those figures for sale but BBTS ,Entertainment Earth and all other big stores don't have them ?
I saw those listings on eBay and yes they were in hand photos. Whomever bought them must have spent $120+ on each one as those were the listed buy it now prices.@onlyoneskeletor he said he also has Kobra Khan, and that he bought both figures on Ebay...how is that possible that some random guy on Ebay has those figures for sale but BBTS ,Entertainment Earth and all other big stores don't have them ?
@depp76 I'll happily leave them for buyers who are more inclined to pay these prices during a period when Motu fans would be better advised to think twice about any speculative fees (Snake Lair and Bad to the Bones, to name a few). Besides, it seems that this wave was planned for September. Not too far away...

They'll be up for sale on BBTS soon enough.
And I'll keep checking the page every day, just in case!

Amen.
As is the usual, I was sadly disappointed at the complete lack of any New Adventures representation (I knew this going in of course... Mattel hates NA) at SDCC, but if they start running low on other characters, maybe Mattel will actually remember that they have NA fans out there that would love to have a bone tossed our way.
Heck, it will give them yet another opportunity to sell us He-Man (Thunderpunch) and Skeletor (Discs of Doom) all over again!
>>>The Power of the Good and the Way of the Magic!<<<
@ornclown Not to mention another Prince Adam, a new Teela and the Sorceress (in both her cartoon and mini-comic designs), as well as Randor and Marlena. All of these figures can help to balance the roster while maintaining the minimum level of interest required for the production of the remaining Galactic Protectors and Mutants.
@abaddon What I find even more interesting now is that BBTS seems to be getting them much faster lately, which is great news for those of us who use the venue to buy them. They could almost compete with EE in that regard. In short, no more weeks of yearning over YouTubers' reviews before finally getting them.
There's no way we aren't getting NA now, it's been shown quite a few times in the Origins mini comics and at the SDCC panel they said Cartoon Collection would continue in many forms. That means they likely renewed the copyright/trademarks.
You also have to remember the sheer amount of Origins 200x characters already shown - when you're that far along you're already thinking about what follows. For both lines.
Masterverse NE Kobra Khan figure (soO goOd!!) : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=V5Iyi6hG0oQ&pp=ugMGCgJmchABugUEEgJmcsoFFktvYnJhIGtoYW4gbWFzdGVydmVyc2XSBwkJ_ACjtWo3m0PYBwE%3D

He looks like the best figure in the line so far IMO.
Yeah, being a 2-in-1 figure that looks really cool and an A-Lister that hasn't been released in Masterverse form before ... yeah, I think this one is gonna join the ranks of New Eternia Battle Armor Skelly, NE Webstor, Revelation Prince Adam and '87 movie Beast Man as a highly sought after figure.
But who knows? Maybe Mattel have learnt their lesson with this one and printed more ... ? We'll see, I guess. I just wouldn't sleep on this one when he pops up for pre-order ... just in case.

Gotta say MV is starting to give me anxiety, to miss out on these highly sought after figures…
I have pre-ordered this guy from Amazon, I hope it’ll work out. 🤞
Meanwhile searching online shops to get a Blade and wondering how much I’m willing to spend…
With the supposed refresh / reboot coming up, I’m thinking they are treating the current releases like the final Vintage releases in the 80s– watch for a container ship full of Kobra Khans ending up in… Greece 😅
If they weren’t just so good! I love the MV NE designs more than ever!
@cosmic I know what you're saying. These last Masterverse waves may have low print runs before it's rebooted as the rumoured 'Masters of the Universe Chronicles' line.

Kobra Khan looks unreal, can't wait to get him, been stalking BBTS lately like a maniac
