The Masters of the Universe: Origins Sting-Or action figure is coming to Mattel Creations. First shown off at San Diego Comic-Con this past July, here is Mattel’s announcement to Club Grayskull members: A terrifying new character is emerging from the shadows of the Horde in their first-ever Origins collection appearance. Here’s a sneak peek at this fear-inducing figure: Additionally, from October 21, at 9:00am PT through October 22 at 8:59am PT, only Club Grayskull members can buy this item at MattelCreations.com, while supplies last. No other information is available at this time, but stay tuned for more images and details…

I never heard of this character before. Is he related to Scorpia?

To me, he really feels uninspired. It has been noted that a significant percentage of the design is reminiscent of Scorpia. Another character from another line made me feel that way too (Motuc Draego Man), but this time it was more justified by the fact that he seemed out of the franchise visually.

I agree. I think he needed to look more humanoid. I like history like the next person but not every idea sketched on paper should to be brought to life.

@samuel He's part of the Horde - they all look monstrous.

In my opinion he's bloody brilliant. While I stopped collecting at Classics, I'm not bummed he wasn't created at a time when that line was going strong!

@durendal This is a moot point.
