The official rankings are in and He-Man reigns supreme!
Amazon has released their official rankings from August 3rd to August 9 and “Masters of the Universe” was indeed their #1 Film Worldwide for a third week in a row. Here are the details:
Top 10 Prime Original films (English & non-English) worldwide: Aug 3-Aug 9
According to the analytics of FlixPatrol, “The Devil’s Mouth“, a low budget horror film released directly to Prime Video streaming, held the #1 spot for several days each of the last two weeks (but ultimately couldn’t muster enough power to win either week.)
So once again this is great news for fans hoping this new live-action incarnation of He-Man continues in some shape or form.

@drakken I’d say it has to maintain high viewership for a while still before sequel talk can be seriously entertained, though it’s certainly encouraging that it’s been a streaming hit so far, right after a shockingly poor theatrical run.

That’s really good and a stark contrast when compared to movie theaters. Hopefully it is enough for Amazon to approve the sequel movie.
