TWO WEEKS IN A ROW! Amazon Officially Recognizes “Masters of the Universe” as their #1 Movie Worldwide on Prime Video for a Second Week (after nearly being edged out by “The Devil’s Mouth”)
While we have been utilizing Flix Patrol to track the worldwide performance of the new “Masters of the Universe” film on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service, their unaffiliated rankings are based on a point system that is not as reliable as Amazon’s internal metrics.
The good news is Amazon has released their official rankings from July 27 to August 2 and “Masters of the Universe” was indeed their #1 Film Worldwide for a second week in a row. Here are the details:

According to the analytics of FlixPatrol, “Masters of the Universe” Movie has lost the battle for supremacy every day since last Thursday until today to “The Devil’s Mouth“, a low budget horror film released directly to Prime Video streaming on July 29th.
Fortunately both movies have been in a tighter race than MOTU and “Project Hail Mary” was the week prior, giving He-Man the advantage of having two additional days of viewership (Monday and Tuesday) over the new release of “The Devil’s Mouth” to win the week.
No matter the circumstances, this is great news for a terrific new He-Man movie.
