ORKO LIVES! Orko seems to be found hiding in official “Masters of the Universe” Movie Tie-In Comic Promotional Material!

In anticipation of the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” Movie coming out this June 5th in most countries, many fans have been wondering: Where is Orko?

This is because the little wizard from Trolla (which has always been prominently featured in Masters of the Universe lore since his inception in 1983), has not appeared in either of the film’s trailers, nor behind the scenes footage.

Back in February there was some insider buzz answering that concern of course, but for fans who wanted to avoid rumors and spoilers (or just wanted to be 100% sure), there was no clear guarantee Orko existed in the movie’s cannon.

Well now we can likely confirm Orko exists in the movie lore, thanks to promotion for the upcoming four issue movie comic tie-in titled “Masters of the Universe: The Wings of Fate“.

Check out this social media promotion on Facebook.

On this official promotional image (right) perhaps taken from the inside cover of issue one, we can spot the silhouette of Orko.

We removed the color from the line art so Orko is easier to detect.

So why is Orko hiding behind the Masters of the Universe logo?

That’s a good question.

A giant thanks goes out to the eagle eye of @dgsimo!

We’ll see you next time!

  1. I hate to be a wet blanket, but this doesn’t really tell us if Orko is in the actual movie. It’s great to tie him into the movie’s lore/canon but it doesn’t guarantee he appears in the film itself.

As I understand this Wings of Fate story also involves Stratos another character there’s no sign of appearing in the film.

    1. The full wraparound cover! I’ve attached it here. 😁

I’m not sure how much of a role he will play, but I have to believe that Orko will make it in the movie one way or another…
What if it turns out Evil-Lyn’s powers all come from her stealing / trapping Trollan magic?

  2. pls for the love of Grayskull don’t make him a post-credit scene character. They claim this movie to be faithful to Filmation yet Ork isn’t in any of the marketing. I have heard from some source that he may play a small role in the actual movie. What that is remains to be seen.
Maybe he’s captured by Skeletor and Adam and Co. free him at some point and he joyfully remembers him, then later in the supposed final battle that the trailers hint at, he’s among the crowd of Masters standing out by using his wacky magic tricks to take out Skel minions.
Give my boi some time to kick some ass.

Why is he absent from the marketing? I’m assuming a lot of non-fans who do remember He-Man enough to remember Orko him were people who found him annoying and also sadly the marketing team may have thought the little floaty wizard guy among all these strong mighty warriors on posters would’ve looked weird to casual moviegoers
I love Orko but this is just an observation.
    Orko? He’s alive?!
