Back on February 18th, 2025, fans were elated when the news broke that actor Jon Xue Zhang had joined the cast of the new “Masters of the Universe” Movie as none other than Ram Man… the heroic human battering ram!

Since that announcement, Jon’s overall appearance as Ram Man (as well as his abilities) have not been brought to the forefront as of yet in the official trailers for the film.

However, we did get a look at Ram Man’s legs (thanks to the coverage of Empire Magazine) and nothing appeared out of the ordinary.

Yet what has made us curious is the Masters of the Universe Movie “Chronicles” Ram Man action figure, that will be coming in a two pack with Fisto. While nothing looked out of place in the first few promotional images that were unveiled…

…the next batch of promotional images caught us off guard, showing what appears to have Ram Man’s legs break apart into spring coils revealing yellow translucent plastic inside them.

In a manner that was never explained in lore before in regards to Ram Man’s spring like jumping power…

…apparently in the movie, it appears there will be some sort of yellow magical power within that gives “Rammy” his spring effect.

What appears to be a new interpretation of the classic Ram Man powers, we can’t wait to learn more once we see it in film.
We’ll see you next time!

It gets love and a wtf from me equally.🤣
Maybe he lost his legs when Skeletor conquers Eternia and what he has now are special prosthetics built by Man-At-Arms.
It looks like it has swappable ankles with some sort of thrust spring effect.
I like it!
@toyshark If you look at the before and after I don’t think he has swappable ankles but instead it’s add on pieces. It makes Ram Man taller like his springs are stretching in a leap.
@gatorrob You’re right. They’re inserts.
@gettinhighlander Well, a character named Ram Man would certainly need a good dosage of lube…
@durendal
From a visual perspective, there is certainly room for improvement, as such details are undoubtedly the “selling point" at this stage of my extensive Motu collection. Therefore, I will decline.
The best rendition of Ram Man was 200x. It’s better when he has no “springs) and he’s just a really big dude he can move fast essentially acting as a human bartering ram.
@smokinya 200X was by far the worst looking Ram Man design ever…
@durendal figure wise I would agree with you, but I think in the television show he looked just fine.
