| The evil Kobra Khan visits the Heroic Warriors, offering a truce in exchange for their help. He tells them that his people, the Reptons, are in need of help- someone has extinguished the furnace which heats their underground kingdom, plunging the whole kingdom into severe coldness. Man-At-Arms tells viewers to weigh out all the evidence and consider the sources before jumping to conclusions. | |||||

OUR REVIEW:
While the sleight of hand on the classic hero and villain team up trope is clever, Kobra Khan bringing He-Man to the Eternal Flame long after it's been extinguished (and then saying he saw He-Man extinguish it) comes off a little odd. Still, it's fun to see the world of the Reptons but we wish this episode closed out the series on a stronger note. (6/10)

Tomorrow’s Episode is: Nothing! Congratulations! This is the Series Finale!

Final episode to watch! Wow, what a journey! Going to do a 3:00PM livestream tomorrow to celebrate. Anyone who has participated on this 130/130 is welcome to pop in the livestream. All you need is a computer or smart phone with a mic, camera and internet browser! (I’ll provide a link as we get closer!)
WOOT!
Congratulations to all participants!! It was, is, and always will be a good journey!
Thanks, AJ, for the massive undertaking this undoubtedly was!
(Maybe a She-Ra / New Adventures / MYP watch-a-thon in the future???) 😉
@chadgross @samuel @slycooperastroboy51 @battlecat327 @skele-twa @ornclown
Thanks everyone for joining in and the nice comments. I know it might be a hard time for some, but if anyone can join the stream tomorrow even for 5 minutes, please do! (The link will be posted here tomorrow.).😊
I hope so! Would love to do all of them! Will have to wait until the movie madness calms down though. It’s hard to keep up right now! 😄
@admin oh man, would love to if I can make it work! I may be traveling but if I’m at my destination I’ll try to pop in – big shout out to you AJ for putting this all together, I know it was a lot of work but in my view at least totally worth it – I got to revisit some episodes I haven’t watched in several years and it was so fun to do them all in order this fast!
Appreciate that so much! Glad you found it worth it. Would love for you to pop in if you can! If no one ends up popping in, I’m prepared to be running a solo show, but there will be still plenty to discuss! 😊
We made it! Wearing our 130 t-shirts today to celebrate
@skele-twa I got mine on too! Thanks for making them @admin
Solid episode- not the most memorable, but if we don’t have Skeletor in the final episode Kobra Khan makes for a strong substitute. Growing up with this show and the way they portray him, to this day I can’t view him as anything but one of Skeletor’s Evil Warriors. Plus I have distinct memories of playing with the toy a few years before the other Snake Men came along.
And while I’m happy enough with this finale, I’d probably feel differently if I didn’t know (now) that we still have several more adventures with He-Man, Battlecat, and the others in She-Ra to come.
Well, this was a fun ride. Commented on every episode giving my opinion and being in the fandom and a big MOTU collector for a year, this was an excellent way to familiarize myself with a lot of the franchise’s key aspects before after years we finally see the most Poweful Man in the universe on the big screen (properly).
Throughout the watchathon I kept down a list of my favorite episodes or at least ones I really liked. If I didn’t I know I would say basic stuff like “Average or meh episode" but maybe it’s just because I put the show on in the background while doing something.
The types of episodes I liked:
– A lot of great Skeletor moments
– Episodes where the campiness works for me
– A good amount of action and adventure, even if the plot is average at best
– Spotlight episodes of recurring characters I expected to see more of
– Episodes with a good cast of Master characters
– Episodes that expand the world of Eternia showing new locations in interesting ways
– stories that revolves around Adam on his own as a character
Types of episodes I didn’t like:
– Episodes with Orko or a kid as the protagonist. know it’s a kid show, but they just didn’t do it for me, except “Not So Blind". Loved that one, it was just plain sweet. I love Orko but only in small doses as the cute side character.
– Episodes focusing on Cringer. I’m sorry I know he has hardcore fans but he was my least favorite character. The annoying one.
Favorite characters were Skeletor (who doesn’t love him?), Orko (again when he’s the sweet boy side character), Duncan, Man-E, Evil-Lyn, Trap Jaw, Clawful and Roboto
Would say I prefer Transformers G1 as a show over this, but overall, Filmation He-Man can really have it’s gems.
Here’s my favorite episodes list, would love to hear opinions on it.
Would also love Watch-a-thons of She-Ra and New Adventures. The latter I have not seen a single episode of.

@slycooperastroboy51 Great list!
We made it! Thank you for doing this. This series has meant so much to me and I’m so glad I could talk it for 130 days except when my life got in the way. This was fun and I’ll always remember it. Always remember we have the Power.

I just finished! I can’t thank you enough for all your efforts AJ. I have so enjoyed this…it has given me something to look forward to each day.
And this episode was fun, but that king was a far cry from King Hiss!🤣
I know I haven’t shared my thoughts lately but I have been watching. This was a great motivation to watch them all in preparation for the movie. Standing ovation!
