SPOILER WARNING!
Mattel made a huge drop of tie-in merchandise reveals yesterday, that all connects to the upcoming “Masters of the Universe” film.
One of those exciting reveals was the “MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE” Movie UNO Game coming soon that gave fans our best look yet at the film costumes for Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress, James Wilkinson as Mekaneck, Jon Xue Zhang as Ram Man, James Apps as Spikor and Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man!

But beyond this, we also noticed yesterday that this game also gives us another reveal… one that has the potential of being a huge plot spoiler.
Continue if you dare…
SPOILER WARNING:

One of the UNO Cards features Skeletor holding the POWER SWORD, what Adam uses to transform into He-Man!

What? Skeletor has the Sword of Power?!
We have seen Skeletor obtain “the Power” or the Power Sword before, most recently in the Netflix 2001 Animated Series “Masters of the Universe: Revelation“.

Does this mean we have another God Skeletor in our future, when it comes to the “Masters of the Universe” Movie narrative? It could be.

We will all find out together on June 5th!
We’ll see you next time!

Whether he becomes a version of Skele-god or not (I do hope not but it wouldn’t be too big a deal), I do hope we hear him say “Let this be our final battle!" at some point.
Curious. They may be taking the vintage toy path and Skeletor has the other half of the sword.
The sword halves were mostly abandoned like four decades ago. I doubt they are going back to it.
@dimestorekid They did it in Revelation
That would be awesome!
Unfortunately, I can’t see anything but cosplayers. Everything about this movie looks pathetic except for Skeletor, Battle Cat, Beast-Man & Trap-Jaw. And the new Fright Fighter is really cool, I’m definitely gonna get that.
@sci-fitsunami cosplayers? How are you getting that impression?
To me they all look like they fit in the “universe.” Except Roboto – that chaps my arse!
AWESOME PLOT TWIST!!!!!!!!
Makes sense. Adam in the trailer is missing the sword in a few key scenes. We likely know why now.
I’m curious about the film’s dark undertone. Characters like Spikor suggest a gloomy atmosphere.
@grayskull1979 Spikor suggests a gloomy atmosphere for you? That is an interesting take. I always saw Spikor as one of the more vibrant evil warriors.
