OUR REVIEW:
A ridiculous tale that feels more like a rejected script for a Rankin-Bass Christmas Special than a He-Man episode, this story's quest to return time to Eternia is a nonsensical mess. At one point the convoluted logic is explained to He-Man as he stands in front of the "Council of Seasons" where afterwards He-Man replies "I understand." We're glad someone does. (1/10)

Tomorrow’s Episode is: “Here, There, Skeletors Everywhere”

This is definitely not a good episode, although I don’t know that it makes my bottom five, it’s just….not interesting. Despite so many new characters none of them are overly compelling, and something tells me if they made the episode today they would have gone a little less stereotypee with the princess.
I do admit that I’ve always laughed at He-Man’s dirty look to Battlecat after Battlecat tells him “They’re running out of time” while digging for the sand particles.
Watching this for the first time, I think this may be one of the most WTF episodes of the show and I kinda admire it for that.
Cracked up Purple Speedo-wearing Blue Meanie wizard wants to be the new emperor of Kimba the White Lion of sumthin’ when the one now and his daughter are very awkward outdated stereotypes with speech patterns (hey, ain’t as bad as Jitsu/Chopper) with a council consisting of human Cheetara, old man with a odd voice filter and a British guy for some reason.
You cannot make this up.
I love all the episodes including this one but while its weird I like the idea that time is controlled on Eternia. Remember Eternia is the center of the universe.
What I don’t love is all the Asian stereotypes. It started with Chopper and later there was a sumo wrestler and now this. This isn’t Earth It’s Eternia so it makes no sense why these western stereotypes are even there.
1 star. I dont care about the stereotypes (they can be fun) and the mythic level of the story could have been interesting and creative but the episode is downright boring, with a sucky villan and boring characters.
