OUR REVIEW:
A magnificent lore building episode probably appreciated more by adults than by kids, this Teela centric story where the Sorceress is trapped in another dimension (and the Spirit of Grayskull needs Teela to take her place) is just a joy to watch. Skeletor is wonderfully calculating here and the character development of Teela as she faces her insecurities (and unwittingly her fate) is just top notch. (10/10)

Tomorrow’s Episode is: “Orko’s New Friend”

Classic episode. I like seeing the Spirit of Grayskull but where was he all those other times Skeletor got inside Grayskull?
🤣
One of the best of the series and definitely Season 2. I wish we had a few more like this that took a more serious tone – no Orko helps, and Trap-Jaw and Skeletor have their moments of humor while keeping a more serious tone. Feels like this is one of the ones Revelation really took inspiration from.
One slight criticism as he’s my second favorite character- Evil-Lyn tells Skeletor that He-Man and Battlecat are coming, and Skeletor questions why He-Man is coming alone. Feels like a ton of disrespect to the one character Skeletor routinely runs from, haha.
Dropping in again to say that this episode is also part of my personal top ten.
Great writing, dialogue, pacing, and reuse of stock footage.
This is a great one. So many great moments. Duncan hugging Teela. The Sorceress hugging Teela. I think my favorite moment is when the Spirit and Sorceress watches Teela from the Castle. It’s so sweet that Sorceress has someone to share it with and she is not alone. As you say. Perfect episode. 10/10
Excellent episode. Nuff said.
