OUR REVIEW:
While it's terrific to see an origin story written for Cringer and Battle Cat, unfortunately it is not written very well, awkwardly forcing the tale into a lesson for Orko and adding an uninteresting monster that just lumbers around with his hands in the air, like he just don't care. A cute baby Cringer can't save this episode from its faults. (4/10)

Tomorrow’s Episode is: “The Time Wheel”

Young Teela looks more like young Marlena.
I’ve always felt this episode had a great opportunity and whiffed on it – while it is technically a Cringer/Battlecat origin story, neither really does much with the plot, let alone hardly says anything. My favorite part of the episode is the transformation, but even then I like the series bible and other media better that suggests Battlecat was with He-Man from the get go.
It was cool spending time with younger versions of the characters though.
This episode is pretty bad. The worst part is the way He-Man transforms Cringer into Battle Cat for the first time. He-Man says “It’s me. Adam" and points the sword at Cringer. Normally when someone says “its me" they point at themselves, not someone else. It was totally unnatural. A good writer would have figured out something better.
I would describe this episode in one word: cute. Nothing more nothing less
Every 5-7 episodes be like:
Duncan: Orko, don’t touch anything in my lab!
Orko: ‘kay. I swear I’m just gonna leave and not come back in-

@slycooperastroboy51 He is a cutey @slycooperastroboy51. Do you remember Muppet Babies? Now I want a MOTU Babies show.
@ninadust I LOVE THAT IDEA!
Not part of that generation. A Gen Zer who was way more of a Thomas the Tank Engine kid, hell the first five classic seasons narrated by either Ringo Starr, George Carlin (yes really) or Alec Baldwin are my comfort show.
2 stars. I don’t mind it, them as youngsters is great, second half is weaker. My main complaint is cringer / battlecat doesn’t talk in the past and it never explains why he started doing so.
