There were plenty of characters featured in the new “Masters of the Universe” Movie trailer that were either partially hidden or shown rapidly, easily missed upon first watch.
One of them was the Sorceress, and now we have our best look yet at the “Heroic Guardian of Grayskull” played by actress Morena Baccarin in the “Masters of the Universe” Movie. What has been revealed is her colors are inspired by the classic “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” Filmation cartoon (the originator of this Sorceress design.)

Check it out:

It almost appears actress Morena Baccarin may have a headdress beak on forehead as well, but it’s not clear enough to be certain.

Either way, we are relieved to see classic colors infused in her costume. We can’t wait to see more.
We’ll see you next time.

Where’s her feathers?
I have the same question! I don’t mind her having a more “ethereal" look, but darn it, I’m not digging the cape!
Why they go accurate for some characters and not for others?
@asterstar exactly! Also the falcon has the right bright blue and orange colors, she should transform back in the same scheme. If not the colors, I’m ready to accept she will be inspired on the all-white Temple of the Darkness Sorceress but then she needs feathers, cape and a beak in her head
She looks so pretty!
I started watching her show Sheriff Country and I like it so far. Jerry Bruckheimer is the producer.
This makes me feel a little better. I didn’t like the plain white look I thought this was. It was too reminiscent of the 1987 Sorceress. If her headress is a bird head I may end up liking it.
I’ll wait for a better photo to come out, and I’m sure she’ll have a nice outfit, but I’m a little disappointed by the stylisation of the design. Just as I wanted to see a furry loincloth for He-Man and a skull face for Skeletor, my inner Filmation little girl was also hoping to see my heroine’s feathered shawl, the headpiece.. maybe the little dress and the impossible high heels are too much to ask for, but for sure something with more character than a standard medieval dress.
@gsikleb I’m disappointed by the lack of sexy high heels too
@gsikleb Maybe there are feathers in her outfit we can’t see. That’s what I’m hoping for at least.
I kind of like it. Although, I’ll reserve final judgement until we get a better look at it.
