The New Masters of the Universe “CHRONICLES” Action Figure Line is here! (Remember when some told the community this was “incorrect” news a few months ago?)
So last week we reported that Mattel would be having a Panel Talk today featuring updates involving the New “Masters of the Universe” Movie at Spielwarenmesse, the international toy fair in Nuremberg, Germany.

Well now, we can confirm figures were revealed thanks to Die Welt Der Meister Magazin and Ross Anthony Catterall! They are a brand new line called “CHRONICLES” reportedly somewhere between 5.5-7 inches (pending confirmation)! Check it out:

Plus we have a reveal of what the upcoming He-Man and Tri-Klops figures will look like (revealing Tri-Klops’ movie costume), thanks to packaging cross-sell art!

Exciting news!
We’ll see you next time!

The first photo seems like it’s taken from Welt der Meister‘s Post… https://he-mania.com/community/postid/29663/
Finally! We get to see them! Looks very much like Masterverse buck and scale…
I like that Man-at-Arms figure. That Evil-Lyn, not so much.
Pass
So is Chronicles replacing Masterverse? Does anyone know?
@mighty-thanos hope not…nothing can replace Masterverse, especially not this, and there’s not a lot of characters in the new movie, so they will not do a whole roster…easy pass
@yen1893 I would have preferred the movie figures to be a line within the Masterverse line but I guess Mattel didn’t want to go that way. I want to know what’s different. Chronicles sounds exactly like Masterverse, just said differently.

@adam_prince-of-eternia This sounds like a glimmer of hope, at least technically. They certainly won’t find a better term than “Masterverse" to encompass every possible subline.
Yeah, Pixel Dan mentioned he was told these are more a six inch scale, where as Masterverse is seven inch.
I wonder if Mattel is ditching the seven inch scale going forward.
@spookyduzt I think they are smaller than that. There was a data sheet going around saying the chronicles figures were 5 1⁄2 inch.

Weird that Skeletor isn’t part of the first wave.
@vintagetyler Skeletor will be released bro and so will Teela, Trap Jaw and a creature.
@admin I also found out Evil-Lyn was coming after you took down the news story so I figured why bother.
Thanks. I figured it was either something like that or Evil-Lyn was incorrectly labeled as “Creature". 😀
Paul Reubens as Evil-Lyn.
“HA! I know what you are He-Man, but what am I???"
@sci-fitsunami I am dying bro 🙂
It’s very possible these loose figures are prototypes and the finals will look better.
Just wanted to repeat to @admin that I feel the first photo might be taken from someone else 😅
Corrected! Thanks! 😊
Well…. These figures are certainly something. Tri-Klops has an interesting design for the movie at least.
Evil-Lyn is looking ROUGH. Can’t remember the last time Mattel produced an Evil-Lyn I’ve liked lol
