    1. Unfortunately, they haven’t shown anything new since the last SDCC convention, whereas they were more generous with the Origins brand and the few new products that have appeared online recently. This is a little worrying, as it’s impossible to say what Mattel’s focus will be in the coming months. And with the film release approaching, well…

    1. Yes!! Ex-ten-dar! I mean, this character is so freaking cool! The retro medieval vibe mixed with a more modern touch — not to mention his action features! — has won me over. Hopefully Rio Blast will be next — Masterverse could work wonders with him, too.

    2. It’s great to see Extendar, and also the He-Man gives a classic vibe, it’s not really the NE “horned” He-Man… again, gives the whole Illustration a classic touch!

I hope they can do a bit something with Extendar’s action feature… the Classics figure is so cumbersome with all the connection pieces… and they are hard to take apart.

I sincerely hope they can do something akin the Origins version, where we have *some* pull-out extensions, combined with connection pieces for the limbs.

I would favor a fully functional vintage-style “pull-out” Extendar, but I doubt that will happen. Plus, the “articulation” crowd might object 😏.

  1. Also, I do like Keldor and Adora, too. Just Keldor’s hood is too high / tall, I feel. Adora seems to have the well-known Masterverse problem of disappearing neck, due to her armor, but you can take that off.

I never liked the classic design of Keldor, or even his part in the origin of Skeletor, but somehow this figure appeals to me. There’s a certain ugliness to the colors, plus the decaying head (not pictured), that makes him interesting to me!

Together with the Revolution Keldor, Masterverse has been doing well with this character, in my opinion.
