After the reveal last week that a Movie Junior Novel, Children’s Books and a Retro Coloring Book are all coming this May 2026 from Simon & Schuster….
…new info was shared with us from a source that fans can also can look forward to Comics tied to the film as well (assumingly from Dark Horse Comics!)
While nothing regarding it being a prequel story or a sequel, a limited run or ongoing series was divulged to us (nor was the writer & artist assigned to the project)... what we did learn is these comics will be “in-Universe“ to the movie… meaning it will match the main narrative and aesthetics we will see on screen…. and not be an adaptation of the movie!
We can’t wait to get our hands on more information regarding these New “Masters of the Universe” Movie Comics coming next year.

This sounds lovely. I hope they pick an artist that can draw the actors well.
I love the idea of an ongoing series. I miss the anticipation of a monthly comic. I would also love to have a series of adult novels but there doesn’t seem to be an interest for that with He-Man. I don’t know why.
That fits with what they did with Revelation / Revolution, makes a lot of sense they’d be doing this with the movie as well.
