The one-shot comic “MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: ANDRA” is out today from Dark Horse Comics!

It is new comic book day!

And today, the Masters of the Universe: Revelation & Revolution continuity continues with “Masters of the Universe: Andra”!

With writing by Tiffany Smith and art by Adriana Melo (and three widely circilated covers to choose from), this 56 page one-shot comic promises to deliver fans a brand new story that will delve into the backstory of the new Man-At-Arms… Andra.

Solicitation / Synopsis: Writer Tiffany Smith, the actor who voices Andra in Masters of the Universe: Revelation and Masters of the Universe: Revolution, and Eisner Award-winning artist Adriana Melo (Birds of Prey, Fantastic Four) bring Andra to the forefront in this thrilling one-shot.

Adapting to her new role as Man-at-Arms, Andra finds herself struggling with training new cadets. They must be ready to fight against any and all threats—magical or otherwise—but if Andra can’t believe in herself how can she expect others to follow her lead? When a call for assistance on Orkas Island turns out to be a magical threat from the evil Count Marzo, Andra will have to delve into her past, use her technical know-how, and find her own power if she hopes to save Eternia.

  1. I give it a 6.5/10. It was okay, not totally memorable.
    It had a vibe of a common 200X or Filmation episode, which is good.
    I guess we are all getting more adults and becoming more demanding on script quality, but you’ll like it if you read it.
