This past weekend, the most powerful man in the universe was the most powerful man in movies on Amazon Prime Video!
After the film’s worldwide exclusive streaming premiere on Amazon Prime Video this past Wednesday July 22nd, “Masters of the Universe” has ruled the top spot of the overall movie charts for five days in a row.
According to the analytics of Flix Patrol, here is how the Top 10 Movies in the World currently ranks:

While He-Man has ruled the top spot since its debut, “Project Hail Mary” has been a strong #2 since its streaming debut on Amazon Prime Video 24 Days ago.
“Project Hail Mary” has been so strong, we wonder if He-Man’s closest competitor could still be the #1 Movie for next week when Amazon releases their official rankings, considering the Ryan Gosling film garnered 7 days of viewership (while “Masters of the Universe” only garnered 5.) We shall see.

@kinggrayskull09 Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. It’ll have to do very strongly on streaming for a while (probably several weeks, if not longer) before Amazon will even consider investing any more money into this IP. Remember that there’s still a huge box office loss tied to this film…
I definitely want a sequel as much as anybody. I just hope everyone can rejoice for the great movie we got and sing it’s praises as much as possible before getting too focused on the future. If you look back at the development history for this movie, it’s really incredible it ever got made. The longing for a sequel to Revelation and Revolution has hit me hard for the past few years, but it’s also helped me to learn to appreciate what I have because nothing is guaranteed, especially in the current media landscape.
