Physical media has the power!
And the classic 1980’s He-Man and She-Ra are returning to the DVD format for an awesome Collection DVD Set! Here are all the details:

By the power of Grayskull, step into a world of epic battles and adventures in He-Man & She-Ra: The Ultimate Collection.
Featuring all 130 action-packed episodes of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and all 93 adventure-filled episodes of She-Ra: Princess of Power, it’s the ultimate celebration of two animated classics.
Join He-Man and She-Ra along with Orko, Skeletor, Man-at-Arms, Swift Wind, Bow, and Kowl in a legendary collection that also includes the full-length animated feature He-Man and She-Ra: The Secret of the Sword, a festive Christmas special, and hours of in-depth bonus features.

It appears this set won’t be available on Blu-Ray unfortunately but we are still excited about the collection nevertheless!

This set can be pre-ordered at Amazon for $64.99 but will also be available at stores like Walmart, Target and Barnes & Noble.
Well see you next time!

Even though I have all of these episodes and movies twice over (I have all of the BCI / Eclipse sets, which I still think are the quintessential versions, the separate 10 episode collections, and the 30th Anniversary Grayskull set), I went ahead and pre-ordered.
I hope the set contains extras that I haven’t seen before… and some artwork that is on par with the BCI sets. (A collection of restored Mattel toy commercials would be cool…)
I hope the same thing happens with New Adventures, MYP 2003, Revelation / Revolution, CGI, Princesses of Power, and the 1987 Film.
@ornclown The BCI ECLIPSE is the prettiest on my shelf and the Eternian Collection is the ugliest on my shelf but the Eternian Collection are the only discs I play. Their quality is unbeatable especially if you are using a large television.
The special features on this set are all old. There is nothing new but maybe it’s worth buying if you don’t own the Power of Grayskull already.
Nice.
I actually converted all of my DVD episodes to digital copies on an external hard drive, and play them on my setup from there.
Watch this be the terrible preexisting digital masters with crusty visuals and PAL speed again
I’ve bought multiple DVD sets of both shows over the years that I can’t really justify getting yet another set unless it is a Blu-Ray set.
Anyone else REALLY hope Mattel would sort legal crap out with Universal/Dreamworks and give us physical media of She-Ra 2018?
On top of that, maybe Mattel makes Origins/Masterverse(whenever it continues?)/whatever figures of that show. Wishful thinking, I know.
Honestly, I’d rather just get the BCI Eclipse/Mill Creek releases. At least with those you have something new-ish to look forward to.
