We have received a lot of inquiries about a physical release for the upcoming “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction” Video Game.
While a digital release has been announced for April 28th for this exciting Filmation inspired He-Man game (developed by Bitmap Bureau and distributed by Limited Run Games), some fans are concerned they won’t have something physical to put on their shelf.

Well be concerned no more. Mattel had announced a Physical Release in their press release way back in August 2025 when the “Dragon Pearl of Destruction” video game was first announced. Check it out:
Mattel, Inc. (Nasdaq: MAT), a leading global toy and family entertainment company and owner of one of the most iconic brand portfolios in the world, in partnership with Limited Run Games, a premium publisher of physical video games, announced today He-Man and the Masters of the Universe™: Dragon Pearl of Destruction, a retro-inspired 2D brawler console and PC title, developed in conjunction with Bitmap Bureau® (Terminator™ 2D: NO FATE, Final Vendetta). Unveiled during Opening Night Live (ONL) at gamescom 2025, the world’s largest video game trade and consumer show, this all-new original title is set to launch in 2026, with physical pre-orders and digital release also coming early 2026
We assume the physical release will feature the below artwork by artist Freddie Williams II:

Now all we have to do is wait for the physical pre-order date to drop!
We’ll see you next time!

That’s cool!
Nice.
They’re well-versed in their customer base.
Watch the physical release be this large expensive collector edition you have to take money out of your 401k to pay for.
I couldn’t believe the scam that was T2D…
You talking about the delay bro or something else?
I mean what they charged for T2D as a disc (the game isn’t even on it).
With Pearl digital will likely be the only option for me as a PS4 owner, if that’s even gonna be a thing.
@sketchyskeletor I think it’s only PS5. You got to upgrade or use Steam.
The disc is blank on this thing?
That’s messed up. I love the stuff that comes with it and want the same for motu but that’s messed up.
That’s what they suggested with Shinobi though initially and it’s frequently on digital discount for PS4. There’s no way Pearl actually requires a PS5, Sony have just been trying to get people onto one because many didn’t upgrade for all the reasons. Most of them involving Sony’s greed.
Yeah, there’s only a handful of megabytes on the disc and the rest is an ‘update’ file.
Now how about online play…
