OUR REVIEW:
An excellent episode that marks the series debut of both Buzz-Off and Whiplash, this adventure romp has it all: A mystery, great danger, some terrific scenery and humorous moments that are an absolute blast. This one is a lot of fun. (9/10)

  1. A few years ago I heard someone make the comment that this is a perfect “Saturday afternoon episode." I don’t know why that fits, but it seems like a perfect description. I really enjoy it, it builds a good mystery and story.

Mer-Man and Whiplash make a great duo as well, it’s too bad we didn’t get more of this. It’s funny how they’re typically two of Skeletor’s most competent warriors but here they’re played more like Beatman and Trap-Jaw. It works in this context though.

Finally, you know the story is great when He-Man’s barely in it but you hardly notice.
